jungkook finds out from leeseok that namjoon and sooyuk used to be best friends and on the day of his suicide, namjoon might have been the witness to, presumably, a murder but since there is no proof, nothing can be taken into action.

taehyung takes jungkook to his botanic garden and shows him around. he picks up a flower and places it behind jungkook's ear at the same time getting closer to jungkook, but before being able to say something to jungkook, somebody calls for taehyung and he is forced to leave.

"that's the hallway where we first met." jungkook exclaimed with a little chuckle.

"right, you almost broke my precious vase." taehyung laughed.

the two were walking around the house, talking about a variety of different things; anything that could come to mind. today was too hot to go outside and since jungkook occasionally got lost in the hallways of taehyung's mansion, taehyung decided to give yet another tour for jungkook.

beside being in the moment, jungkook constantly kept on thinking about sooyuk's suicide and namjoon who definitely knew something important. it deprived him of sleep.
he didn't know what to do and how, he didn't want to look suspicious to anybody. his position as a secretary was extremely valuable, he had access to quite a lot of things.

but pretending to be a simple citizen was most important. if his reputation gets ruined, everything else gets ruined as well.

"what's in this room?" jungkook asked trying to be as chill about it as possible.
from the very first time jungkook saw that room, it kept on lingering in the back of his mind. as far as he was concerned, it was the only locked room in the mansion. jungkook was given the keys to almost every door except the door to sir kim seokjin's office and this one. an awfully suspicious place.

"this one?" taehyung asked pointing at a dark wooden door and jungkook nodded. "I have no idea. only kim seokjin has the keys to it, if I'm not mistaken. probably just a room with garbage left after the repairs."

"right..."
not. jungkook thought to himself. why would only kim seokjin have the keys to an ordinary room?
"do you have any cameras in here?"

jungkook leaned on the little table and exhaled looking around. he tried to look like he was simply curious about the building.

"of course, there are cameras everywhere for safety." taehyung said and walked over to jungkook. "except the bathrooms and janitor closets."

jungkook looked up and caught a red flickering light in the corner of the ceiling. the camera was perfectly aligned with the suspicious door. that's when jungkook understood that he had to see the footage somehow.

jungkook got into his thoughts and quieted down. taehyung looked at the boy and spoke up to break the silence:
"secretary jeon, would you like to help me pick out an outfit for tomorrow's interview?"

"me?" jungkook asked pointing at himself.

"yeah. let's go." taehyung smiled.

"doesn't your stylist do that?" jungkook questioned as he followed taehyung to the elevator.
