some man accuses mingi of threatening a boy and mentioning soojin's suicide. the man says mingi is a murderer but nobody believes him. hoseok wants to talk it out with mingi, but mingi ends up pushing hoseok away.

jungkook wakes up in taehyung's bed. since jungkook remembers nothing, taehyung decides to demonstrate last night to him. jungkook gets frustrated after taehyung calls their make outs 'flirting'.

hoseok calls jungkook only to say that sulli is dead.

jungkook arrived to the crime scene as fast as he could. he stepped out of the taxi and saw a bunch of reporters making a fuss near the entrance, as the police tried holding them down. jungkook showed his ID to one of the men who were guarding the place and entered sulli's building.

"please tell me why the reporters get here before you do?" jungkook heard general park talking to hoseok. they stood near a sofa in the living room.

"I apologize, general park." hoseok said, lowering his head.

"greetings, general park, detective jung." jungkook greeted the males and bit his lip nervously.

"nice to see you here, jeon." park smiled and looked back at hoseok. "get on with the case."

general park left to talk to the forensic inspectors leaving hoseok and jungkook alone.
they glanced into each others eyes and frowned.

"where... where is she?" jungkook asked quietly.

hoseok grabbed jungkook's arm gently and led him towards the bedroom. the crime scene specialists were taking photos of the body and any suspicious evidence lying around.
sulli's bedroom was simple and pretty. her wall was decorated with fan mail and fanart she received, some unopened envelopes were laying on the table along with other utensils. a chair was lying in the middle of room.
sulli's petite body, that was lifelessly lying on the bed, was getting covered by a white plastic wrap and jungkook abruptly ran up to the bed, stopping the process. he uncovered sulli's face by removing the plastic wrap and exhaled with a shaky voice as tears started to prickle his eyes.

jungkook couldn't help himself. just a couple days back, he saw the young girl laughing and enjoying her time with friends and now all he saw were pale, cold features of her beautiful face.

jungkook felt hoseok's hand comfort him by the shoulders. they walked away, letting others cover the body fully.

"I know this is difficult for you, so if you don't want to–"

"no." jungkook interrupted hoseok. "I must help you out on this."

hoseok walked up to sulli's table and looked through the mail lying there while jungkook read the fan mail on the walls.
