hoseok suspects mingi of being the serial killer, but after comparing his fingerprints to the ones found on the bottle with sedation hoseok gets confused – they don't match.

at work, jungkook finds out that leeseok fired himself and blames himself for that. park jimin meets up with taehyung and the two discuss sulli's death. jimin believes she was murdered. hearing that, jungkook drops a cup and cuts himself. after getting the wound clean in the nurse's office with taehyung, the boys end up kissing near the elevator.

the more stars showed up on the dark,  night sky, the more jungkook panicked.
since leeseok left so abruptly, all the work he usually did around the mansion was given to jungkook. his work day lasted three hours longer than it should've.

namjoon encouraged seokjin to hire more workers, but it was always the same old story: if seokjin didn't like the tiniest thing about the person, he immediately sent them off. that's why namjoon ended up taking the job himself and hired a couple more worthy workers to do things around the mansion.

jungkook turned off his computer and exhaled loudly. the electronic clock on his wooden desk showed 9:56 p.m. and jungkook rolled his eyes in frustration. he was planning to go visit leeseok in order to apologize to the boy, but because of all this extra work he would probably have to cancel that plan.

"no, I can't." jungkook said to himself while searching for his phone. "he shouldn't be asleep at this time. I won't be able to talk to him later: tomorrow is sulli's funeral, after tomorrow taehyung has a fansign, then a fan meeting. I'm completely booked for the week and even the weekend."

jungkook took the first taxi and went straight ahead to leeseok's house. he walked the dark, empty streets searching for the right house.

does he really live in one of those houses? I thought he was a poor student who dropped out of school to pay for his parent's medical treatment. jungkook stopped and looked around. aren't these houses a little too expensive for someone like leeseok?

not even a little too expensive, these houses definitely costed more than leeseok's monthly salary.
jungkook walked up to the house leeseok was supposed to live in and stopped near the entrance.

ah, shit.
jungkook looked down at untied shoe laces and bent down to sloppily try and tie them with his injured hand.

"sorry!" jungkook heard a man apologize after accidentally tripping over jungkook. the man quickly disappeared in the building before jungkook could see who it was.

that voice... was that–

jungkook ran up the stairs after the suspicious man and hid behind a pillar to watch. jungkook tried to understand who was standing near tha metallic door, but couldn't recognize the male from the back. the door opened and jungkook saw leeseok who was standing there with a saddened expression on his face and an oversized dress shirt.

"seokjin?" leeseok asked quietly.

"good evening, leeseok." seokjin answered and walked inside, pushing leeseok aside a little.
seokjin turned around to close the door and for a mere second jungkook thought their eyes met, so he quickly pressed himself into the wall wishing to become invisible.
