The awaited day has finally come.

Today is the first day of the foundation day and everybody looks so excited while making their way towards the field where the opening ceremony is going to be. A big stage was place in front and booths from both sides in a line. I can see students wearing their respective costumes depending on what their booth is.

Upon reaching our class's booth, I was amazed by the costumes of my classmates. I saw my friends at the side and made my way towards them. "Hey Tine." Kate greeted me. Truth to what she said, she really wore the maid costume and she really looks cute in it. Claire's character is Alice from Alice in the Wonderland. Danica is wearing the costume of Wonderwoman. Nisha is wearing a costume of an anime character that I don't recognize. While Caryl wears Harley Quinn's costume. Princess is queen Elsa from the movie Frozen. And I, I'm dressed as Sailor Moon.

"You look really cute Tine." Danica commented and I thanked her. I thought that I'm not fit to wear this kind of things but hearing my friends compliment me, I'm guessing that it's not that bad. "Where's Dian?" I asked them and they told me that she's already in the backstage preparing for their song number.

I looked around our booth searching for a blue-eyed man but I didn't see him around here. Where could he be? "Hinahanap mo si Aless? He's not here. They're in the gym with that Andrea and the other representative. I heard it's a meeting for their performance." I heard Princess said and I nodded at her. I guess I'll just wait for him until he comes back here.

"Attention students. Please ready yourselves as we are about to have our opening ceremony. Please proceed here in front of the stage." We heard the announcement coming from the front and I nodded at my friends and made our way out of the booth and proceed in front of the stage. Some students are there already.

A person made her way towards the front, a microphone in her hand. Cheers from the students are heard throughout the whole field and even me and my friends joined the cheers too. "What's up my fellow Benvolians!" The cheers got louder. "Now that's an energy. Before we start, let us introduce ourselves first before we proceed. Let me call my fellow emcee since he's late. Ah andito na pala siya. Bilisan mo." A man came up the stage looking so dashing and it's no other than Apollo himself.

"Yes hello Benvolians! Make some noice!" Cheers from us are heard. "Today's emcee and for the next days until the end of this event are your Student Council Vice President Apollo Achilles." He said with enthusiasm in his voice. "And your Student Council Secretary Aurora Lane!" All of us clapped and some whistles are heard from the other students after they introduced themselves.

"So today is a very wonderful event because it's already the 98th foundation day of our beloved Benvolio University. The first time I came here, I was so nervous but now, I'm glad that I chose to be a part of this University." Aurora said. I'm not that close with her but she's really approachable and kind to all the people she met.

"To continue our program, let's all gave a warming welcome for our beloved Principal Luca Russo. Let's give him a round of applause!" Apollo said with a smile on his face. He seems that he really enjoys this event. But I'm curious why does the VP is the emcee and not the SC President? Isn't he supposed to be there? But I'm not complaining since Apollo looks so handsome standing in front and I can hear a lot of the Grade 11 students liked him.

"Good day my students. I'm overjoyed to know that you are all excited for this event. I'm happy that our University already reached it's 98th year and hoping for more years to celebrate. I won't make this long. I just want to tell you to enjoy and have fun. Cheers to everyone for making this far. Have a good day everyone." After the speech of the Principal, series of claps and cheers are heard from the students making me laugh because of their excitement.
