-x- Izuku Midoriya's POV -x-

I dragged myself through the bar's doors, stumbling forwards as I pressed my hand against my head. Through tear-blurred vision, I noticed that no one was in the bar. After letting out a slight sigh of relief, I pushed through the doors and began to steer myself towards my room.

However, upon hearing the League's voices, I froze.

"Why are we dealing with that kid anyways?" Magne asked, sighing.

"Don't be like that!" Toga said as I peeked into the room, heartbeat quickening. "Deku-Kun is our friend!"

Dabi rolled his eyes. "He's more like a nuisance."

Toga was about to protest when Shigaraki put his hand up, keeping the other from rising to his neck. "The brat may be trouble at the moment, but if we can get him to regain his memory, he'll become an invaluable asset."

A lump rose in my throat. Why would I be so helpful...?

Toga raised a brow. "Why are you talking all fancy-like, Shiga-Kun?"

The rest of the League ignored Toga, and Mr. Compress spoke up. "We all know he was quite the villain, but Dabi's right. At the moment," he pointed out, "He's only causing trouble. Is it really worth going through all of this just for him?"

Shigaraki sighed before his lips curled into a bone-chilling smirk. "Honestly? This was Sensei's idea. But you have to be honest, it's entertaining. I mean," he laughed, raising his arms, "The brat was our biggest problem, and now he's joined us."

My throat felt dry, and my eyes were wide. I... Was their biggest problem?

"What do you mean?" Toga asked curiously, resting her chin on her hands.

Shigaraki rolled his eyes. "The brat always stirred up trouble when we least needed it. Not to mention that he ruined a number of our plans."

Dabi smirked. "So you're angry because he was better at being a villain than you?"

"Shut up," Shigaraki rasped angrily. "He was an annoying problem, I'll just say that. Besides that, he was becoming more popular or whatever. Taking away the publicity with his grand-scaled plans."

"I must admit," Mr. Compress placed his hand on his chin, "They were quite spectacular. I can't discount him for that."

Toga raised her head, a grin on her face. "Like that one time he kidnapped a hero and hacked into all the city's TV's to broadcast it?"

"Exactly," Shigaraki sighed, absentmindedly scratching his neck.

"No...," I whispered breathlessly, barely able to keep myself upwards as I ran my fingers through my hair. "They're lying..."

And that, Deku suddenly appeared, Is where you're wrong.

My head shot upwards and I slumped against the wall, albeit stiffly. What...?

Izuku, you didn't think you were a top villain for no reason, did you? Deku snorted. You had all sorts of huge plans. Publicized murders, kidnappings, hero-exposing scandals - everything. Actually, you were way worse than the League.
