You walked towards the edge, looking out over the setting sun. Your mind brought you back to the day you sat with Ben, watching the same sun set over the white planet.

You noticed a small black dot growing in the middle of the sun. As it grew larger, you could see that it was Kylo Ren's ship. You stayed sitting as it flew overhead, and landed behind you.

The sound of the ramp extending caused you to leave your position of sitting and turn around to face the ship. You stood up, and walked closer.

You saw his boots first. He was stopped at the top of the ramp, but he soon continued down. He was dressed in the same black pants, but now, his shirt was different. It looked to be a normal long sleeve.

You continued to look up until you met his eyes. His mask was nowhere in sight. It was only him.

He stepped off the ramp, continuing towards you. Your feet subconsciously began to walk towards him, until only a foot separated you.

You didn't know what to say, but Ben's eyes told it all. Within seconds, you closed the gap between you. Your arms wrapped around him, afraid to let go. He didn't hug you back. His arms were bent at the elbows, but he did not reach them around you.

You remembered when Leia hugged you, and how foreign it felt. It was hard to imagine how weird Ben must have felt in that moment. But as you started to let go, his big arms encompassed you.

He held you tight, not daring to let go. You did the same. You felt a flood of relief rush over you from being in his presence. You rested your head into his chest, absorbing his scent. You felt his chest expand and sink with every breath. You felt his chin resting on the top of your head.

A single tear carved its way down your face. "Ben." You whispered with a smile.

He pulled you off of him at that moment. Your smile faded as the thought of you saying the wrong thing made your heart sink. You looked down in regret, wishing you could go back in time and stop the word from coming out of your mouth.

You felt a hand on your chin. It pushed up, causing you to look into his eyes. They were softer now. Before you knew it, he leaned down, trapping you in a kiss.

You were caught completely off guard, but you didn't pull away. Sparks flew through your mind as he pulled you closer, causing your bodies to touch in ways they never had before.

His soft lips pressed on yours with just the right amount of pressure. His strong hands held you against his broad chest. This moment was the closest you've ever been to pure bliss.

Your kiss was broken when a bolt of lightning crashed into the ground next to you. You looked at the fried ground and it was in the same spot it had been when you touched hands for the first time.

You looked back to Ben. He was looking down at you, intently, taking in every feature. His hand trailed its way slowly down your arm, until his fingers intertwined with yours.

"We should talk." You said, feeling as though it was the best option.

He nodded in reply, and led the way towards the edge of the cliff, where you both sat watching the sunset.

"I saw my dad." Ben said.

You turned to face him. He was looking out at the reds and oranges of the setting sun.

"It was when I was searching for you, I kept having the same dream, about you crying for help."

He paused, shaking his head, trying to get the thoughts out of his head. "I thought you were in trouble. I destroyed entire star systems looking for you."

He turned to look at you, "but then I felt something. A change in the force. You fully excepted the light side. I knew I had to choose."

You stayed still, listening intently to every word.

"My father came then. He talked about your destiny, as well as mine. And at the end, I chose you."

You placed your hand on top of his, and held on tight. You moved to rest your head on his shoulder as you looked out at the setting sun. He turned to watch the sun disappear beneath the horizon as well.

"I saw my father too." You thought back to the experience, "Well, I think it was my father." Curious, you asked a question. "Ben, do you know who my family is?"

"Yes." He said, causing you to take your head off of his shoulder. How could he not tell me?

As he read your thoughts, he answered, "I learned when you did. My father told me, Miss Kenobi."

Feeling better, you put your head back on his shoulder. The rising darkness in the sky reminded you of the problem at hand. "Rey's going to turn. She's on her way to Exegol right now."

You faced each other as you finished, "It's up to us to stop her." Ben nodded in agreement.

The planet became completely submerged in darkness. It was time to go.

Together, you walked back to the ship. The ride through hyperspace took no time at all. Soon you were back on the Star Destroyer.

As you walked the halls leading to your rooms, you noticed something. "Where's your lightsaber?"

"At the bottom of the ocean." Was the only explanation he gave you.

"Here." You took your old lightsaber off of your belt and gave it to him.

It looked small in his hands. Like he could crush it beneath his grip.

You got to your room, and as your were about to enter your code into the pad, he stopped you. "Stay is my room tonight."

Shit you don't have to ask me twice. You thought to yourself, but only gave a small smile and nod in response.

A smirk fell across his face as he led you to his room. It was much bigger than yours. The colors were different as well. Both the walls and floors were black, with red lights illuminating the room. His bed was larger, with red sheets.

You moved to stand in front of the window, to look out at the stars. After being underground at the rebel base, it was nice to look out over the vastness of space.

You turned away from the window. There were more pressing matters at hand. You had to come up with a plan.

After hours of discussing your options, you both came up with a plan. Ben would go to Ajan Kloss to find his mother and get help from the resistance to take out the Final Order's fleet.

You were to go to Exegol before hand, while sending a trail for the others to follow. Once there, you were to buy them time. Ben would come as soon as the others understood the mission.

Ben didn't like the idea of you being alone with Rey for obvious reasons. But you both knew it was the only way.

You sat up at attention when you noticed a disturbance in the force. A darkness flooded your mind, making you dizzy.

"I feel it too." Ben's deep voice whispered.

"What does it mean?" You whispered back. Why are we whispering? You wondered but didn't wanna ask out loud.

Ben stood up and moved in front of the window, then cleared his throat and spoke in his strong, powerful tone. "Reys turned completely to the dark side now."

You sighed, knowing his words to be true. In the morning, you would go to Exegol.
