I read out loud the last 2 sentences of my essay in EAPP. My essay is all about the society's expectation of a woman. This essay is due next week but I decided to finish it since I'm done reviewing. There are no classes tomorrow, anyway. It's a day given to students for them to review.

Five days have passed yet ACB's texts are still consistent. A day won't pass without a text from him.

Ano kayang trip nito? Hindi makuntento sa babae niya? Hindi ko parin siya nirereplyan. Baka lalong dumalas ang pagtetext. We don't see each other at NFU, too.

I decided to check my social media accounts. Midterms is almost over so I guess it's fine if I open it. Nakasanayan ko na kasing hindi magsocial media within the week of examinations. I don't know. It's a rule I made for myself so I can focus. Not that I'm addicted to social media, it just lessens my time for studying.

And I was about to do so when someone knocked on my door. It's ate Mari, one of our maids. She's just 20. Pinakabatang kasambahay namin dito. Bukod sa siya ang pinaka kasundo kong kasambahay, pinapag-aral din siya ni mommy for free kaya siguro kahit hindi na pinapagtrabaho ni mommy ay nandito at tumutulong parin. Ayaw niya rin naman kasing malayo kay Nang Celia.

"Allana, pinapatanong ng daddy mo kung nakapagreview ka na daw."

"Yes, ate. I'm done sa isang subject. Tomorrow na yung dalawa. I was just checking my social media accounts."

"Gusto mo dalhan kitang snacks or dalhin ko dinner mo dito mamaya?"

"Fries na lang, ate. Thank you. And pakitawag na lang po ako kapag dinner na."

"Sige, Allana. Babalik ako." She said before she closed the door.

He's checking out on me again, huh? I guess I got my trust issues from him, then.

I know I'm not an achiever but I'm really trying my best. God knows.

I opened my facebook account just to see if there's a notification.

I noticed that I have a few friend requests so I decided to check it.

Those are the two friend requests that caught my attention. Sila lang kasi yung may mutual friend na close sa akin. Some are just my classmate's friends so nope. None of them was familiar, too.

Those 2 names are not familiar. The Revianchi has no profile picture. The Aguirre has one but he's too far in his picture so I can't really see him that much. Mga ayaw magpakita. Edi wag. I won't bother knowing who they are. I think they are harmless naman. Friend naman nila kuya at Ari eh.

I just accepted their requests and decided to log off. Wala namang importanteng notifications. And dad might caught me not reviewing although I already did.

I was trying out some sample exercises when ate Mari knocked on my door again for the 3rd time today.

"Allana, kakain na sila, baba ka na."

"Okay, ate, sabay na tayo bumaba. Have you eaten?"

"Ay, hindi pa. Pero doon na lang kami kakain nila mama sa kusina."
