We went straight to Russ' condo right after the plane landed. Nagulat din ako ng sabihin niya sa driver na doon kami patungo. Russ and I lived together for 8 years but we never really told each other everything like this one kaya nagulat din ako nang malamang hindi niya ibinenta iyon.

"Your condo..." panimula ko. "I didn't know you kept it?" I asked as I brushed Cleo's hair using my fingers. She's sleeping in my lap while hugging her cute and girly bag.

I looked at my surroundings and noticed how it changed through the years. The establishments near the airport improved. The roads also had its own renovation and even widened. Judging from afar, the engineers behind all of these are commendable.

"Well, yeah. Zach had it maintained. Minsan doon din siya umuuwi. Sana lang hindi siya doon nagdala ng babae dati." Sabay halakhak niya.

With what he said, I'm guessing Zach stayed here for a few years o di kaya'y umuuwi madalas.

"Nagstay siya dito?" Pagkumpirma ko.
"Well, yeah? Didn't I tell you? Carrie used him against Primo. They kinda had a thing to fool your cousin," tumatawang aniya.

Hindi ko nga alam iyon. Nito ko nga lang din nalaman na sila na ni Primo. It must have been great to end up with someone you really love. So ideal...

Nang dumating kami sa condo ni Russ ay agad akong sumalampak sa sofa. I'm so worn out I could sleep all day. Ewan ko ba, puro upo lang naman ang ginawa namin ngunit pagod na pagod at inaantok talaga ako.

I didn't even have the time to check out his condo for the changes that happened. I guess I'll check them out when my eyelids are not this heavy anymore.

I woke up when I felt the bed moved a bit. Wait, a bed? Binuhat ba ako ni Russ patungo dito o nakatulog ako dito? But I remember sleeping in the couch!

"You carried me here?" I asked Russ whose back is turned on me. He was busy brushing his hair up with his fingers as he watched himself across the mirror. Nang makitang nakatingin ako sa repleksiyon niya doon ay nagpacute siya.

I rolled my eyes on him and let out a small chuckle. "Panget mo."

He held his chest, faking a heartache. "Di ko kayang tanggapin..." umiiling at madramang sabi niya.

"Na mawawala ka na sa akin?" Pagpapatuloy ko. I laughed when he glared at me through the mirror.

Bumangon na lang ako at dumiretso sa banyo para maghilamos. Judging from the dark sky outside, I would say it's already past midnight. I wonder how many hours did I regain my sleep.

Ewan ko ba pero ganon talaga ako kapag bumabyahe. Most of the time, I'd rather watch the other passengers sleep or I would appreciate the beauty of my surroundings. In the end, I'd lack sleep and be a deadass tired bitch when I get home.

I've always love traveling especially the long ones. Eventhough the view outside looks all the same all throughout, I'd never get tired of looking at it. I think I would always have it in me, my love for art.

I don't believe that art is useless because everything you see is made out of someone's artistic idea. If it wasn't for their creativity, the world would settle with dull ideas and won't bother innovating it.

After I've done my routines in the toilet, I went out. Naabutan kong nasa harap ng laptop si Russ doon habang nakaupo sa kama. It must be his work? We both resigned from our work when we were about to leave Caldiverg. It was a good thing Russ' employer gave him a big separation pay. Mayroon naman siyang ipon na kaya silang buhayin ni Cleo ng limang taon pero malaking tulong din ang nakuha niya sa dating trabaho lalo na't marami kaming ipinabagaheng gamit. Well, yes, pwede namang dito na lang kami bumili ng mga gamit pero kuripot si Russ.
