I laughed at their replies. Nilike ko lang ang lahat ng iyon bago pinatay at isinilid ang phone ko sa aking purse.

"Wrailette." Dad called me.

I looked up to him. "Dad." I smiled.

"You look pretty. Well, palagi naman." Dad gave me a warm smile.

"Thank you, daddy." I tugged on his arm and chuckled.

"Let's go?" He asked and offered his arm. I nodded and gave him a small smile.

I am wearing an off shoulder ombre purple tulle gown. Mom chose this gown for me. It wasn't that heavy to  wear but I didn't like it. My chest feel exposed eventhough it isn't. It was partly my fault I let her decide.

I was welcomed by a photographer and videographer that will cover the whole event. I don't think it's necessary though. It's not yet even my debut but everything is already grand.

Wala naman kaming program na inihanda. It's just for socializing, dancing and eating. Now that I think about it, parang mas maganda kung sa bahay na lang namin cinelebrate. The guests would fit there, too, anyway.

My family welcomed me as the hotel staff opened the double door. Sabay sabay silang naghiyawan at bumati. May pa confetti pa. Ano ba to, children's party? I looked for my friends and classmates, andoon sila sa likod ng family ko kasama ng iba pang pamilya na imbitado dito. Si Ari lang ang bida-bida at nasa harapan din.

Agad kaming inassist ng staff para sa family picture. Una ay kami lang nila mommy and daddy, sunod kasama ang Clemente, pagtapos ay ang mga Loyola. Ako lang hindi umaalis sa pwesto kasi malamang ako ang may birthday.

My cousins from both sides had pictures with me, too. Mayroon din kaming dalawa lang ni Ari at kasama sila Lisle. Napagitnaan ako ni Ari at Lisle sa litratong iyon. Bakit ba ito tumatabi sakin, diba hindi kami bati?

Russ had a picture with me, too. Nakaakbay siya sa akin at malawak ang ngiti. Kumapit rin ako sa kanyang bewang at nag peace sign. Naghiyawan ang mga pinsan ko noong kinunan iyon. Ari clapped like a sealion. Dad's face darkened. As well as Lisle's. Anong problema nitong 'mga' tatay ko?

Siniko ko si Russ. "Your cousin looks stupid." I joked.

He laughed. "I know, right? Parang takas mental." Then we both laughed.

Someone faked a cough kaya nabaling ang atensiyon namin ni Russ doon. It was Lisle. He went near me.

Tumaas ang kilay ko sa kanya. "Bakit?" Tanong ko. Muling ibinalik ni Russ ang pagkakaakbay sa akin. Lumipat ang tingin ni Lisle doon. He glared at me before walking away from me. Nalaglag ang panga ko.

Wow, papansin! Kulang ka ba sa aruga, ha?

The party continued. Kanya-kanyang chismisan ang mga matatanda. I noticed that dad invited a few business partners. Few of my classmates are enjoying the dance floor.
