ATHENA's POV:
After talking to Headmaster Dumbledore he left and said he would see me in the welcome feast at Hogwarts soon.
I was informed that I would be attending Hogwarts on September 1st and would need a list of requirements to attend the school. Unlike every school year I was going to attend I was scared—no I am terrified to the bone.
We were now back at the compound and I had faced everyone. Apparently according to dad they were at shock but when I got there they bombarded me with questions about the school in which I don't have the answer to.
On the way back to the compound my dad told me about how my grandmum was a pureblood witch and apparently it skipped a generation and here we are now. I was a witch.
I had a hard time processing it in my head but eventually it settled in. Nothing really surprised me anymore because, come on have you seen my family?
It was already 10 pm at night and I was sitting at my window sill. Next week Headmaster Dumbledore would send in a person to help us with getting my school supplies and I was kind of excited but terrified.
I wasn't terrified at the thought of a new school but with the people that I was leaving—my mum, sister, friends, uncles and aunts, especially my dad.
I didn't realize my dad entered the room until he sat infront of me.
"Hey sweetheart, what you thinking?" he asked me while rubbing my arms. I looked at him and stared at his eyes.
"Dad... I'm kind of scared." I told him shyly. He lightly laughed and shook his head. He scooped me up in his arms and kissed my head.
"It's okay to be scared darling. It's normal." He whispered to my ear. I can't help but feel weak because they would always tell to me be strong.
He sensed my sadness and made me look at him, "Don't be scared little one. No matter where you are, we'll support you."
I shook my head "it's not that I'm scared of." He looked at me confused and motioned me to go on.
