ATHENA's POV
I woke up even before the sun. I felt hollow and constricted, I had to get out. So I did.
Waking out of the dorms and walking straight out of the common I stalked to the lake. I stared at the water, it looked so welcoming. I saw a few merpeople jumping out the water playing with the Giant Squid. I wanted to feel something. I held out my hand to the water, trying to get the attention of the creations but nothing happened.
I sighed and walked down the dock, I reached the end. The wood creaked as I stood on the edge. My feet barely standing on the old wood, I stared into the sky as it started to have color. The wind blew past me and pulled on my hair and shirt.
It should be cold but it isn't. I looked in the murky water and saw the ripples. I closed my eyes and tried to get a hold of my heart but... I couldn't feel anything. I felt tears flow down my cheeks, I bit my lip to avoid screaming, I collapsed and landed on the wood.
I sat there dangling my feet on the water as I watched the sun rise.

THEO's POV
It was breakfast and our friends were looking at each other. I saw Blaise with Draco, today I was going with Thena as planned. I walked to the table where the two boys were sitting. I looked at Blaise with worry, "What Theo?" he asked without looking. "Thena's missing." I said.
I saw Draco froze as he dropped the fork he was holding. Blaise looked at me, "What do you mean, she's missing?" I rolled my eyes at him. "I waited for her at the common room like we planned, her dormmates went down and when they saw me they asked where Thena was. She's not in her dorm."
He looked at Draco and he sighed, "Go with the others. Try finding her and quickly." I nodded and rushed to our friends.

The girls decided to check the library, classrooms and the prefect's bathroom. The boys looked through the broom closets, the forest and the room of requirement. I had already went to the Astronomy tower and Quidditch Pitch.
