ATHENA's POV
We have been trying to move faster than the squad, tonight was supposed to be another normal night but I was called by Headmaster Dumbledore. I walked inside his office and I saw him pacing.
"Professor?" I greeted, he looked at me and sighed. "It is time." He said with a shook of his head. "For what professor?" I asked. He looked at me with a small smile.
"Tonight, you and Draco cannot stop Professor Umbridge to catch Harry." I froze, "Professor-" "It has to be done. Draco needs to prove himself and this small act will be brought attention to the Dark Lord."
My eyes widened, "That would mean-" "He will need to be a death eater. I'm sorry Athena but the Dark Lord will want one of you and like what all of the Order members said, you need to be safe and Draco will always choose your safety."
"Professor, he could get killed." "Not if he succeeds, do not worry my child we will not let Draco be alone in the dark. We only must need someone on the inside." It then clicked, Draco was destined to be a Death Eater and I can't stop that.
"The stars written our destiny..." He nodded at me, "You will have to let destiny take it's course and this is it Athena."
I stood there looking at him, he sighed, "Do not worry. He will come back to you." Before I could answer the door busted open. There stood Minister Fudge.
"Miss Stark." He nodded at me. I nodded back, "Good work in stalling your Headmaster." I looked at my feet, "It is alright Athena..."
I felt like I was going to burst, Umbridge then barged in with Harry and Marietta. He was about to talk but I shook my head at him.
"Ah Miss Stark, good job. The same with your partner, Mr. Malfoy." Fudge beamed and talked. I looked at everyone and I had to do something. I heard a whistle and looked behind Dumbledore and there stood Fawkes.
He nodded at me, Dumbledore stood up and clapped his hands up, I froze the wizards and witches except for McGonagall, Dumbledore and Harry.
I sighed and looked at my Headmaster, "Quick thinking Athena, now I must be quick. Minerva, protect the children as much as you can and do not divulge anything within the grounds, Harry I have to apologize. I thought that distancing myself from you will bring the Ministry's trail off of you but I was wrong, you must continue to fight but look after your peers. Athena, let the stars guide you and Mr. Malfoy to the destiny that was written for both of you."
