ATHENA's POV
Being back home was nostalgic, it wasn't easy at first because all of them wanted to hear about Draco but I just changed the topic instantly. I didn't want to talk about him, there was a pang in my heart whenever someone mentioned his name.
I think Uncle Loki knows because he hasn't left my side whenever everyone was together. I feel like dad thinks that there's something wrong because the last time Uncle Loki did that was before I left for Hogwarts.
It was Christmas morning, me and Morgan just finished drinking our cocoa. We were now all sat down infront of the tree. We were about to open our gifts when multiple tapping of glass was heard. I looked at the sliding door of our compound and saw multiple owls.
Smiling I opened the door and took the parcels. I caught my eye, it was neatly wrapped in green and silver. My smile grew and gave the owls a treat for travelling from London to New York. I picked up the rest of the parcels and sat back down on my place.
My family was looking at me and I just shrugged, "Okay then, TIME TO OPEN PRESENTS!" screamed my dad. My mum shook her head at him.
I got each person a simple present; Cassie an emerald necklace, Harl a new bullet journal, Pete a new backpack, Morg a tiara that me and Draco created before we left. Uncle Scotty a TacoBell giftcard, Uncle T a new pair of sneakers, Uncle Steph a new pair of gloves and Uncle Rhodey wax for his precious armor. Vis and Wanda another version of their collecting recipe books. Uncle Sam a set of running shoes, Uncle Buck multiple hair ties and a new denim jacket. Uncle Thor beads for his hair and a new cape. Uncle Clint a new pick and guitar strings. Uncle Bruce a copy of my school books. Uncle Loki a moving picture of me doing the Levitation Charm and a freshly written poem. Aunti Nat a pair of ballet flats and widow bites. Uncle Steve polish for his shield and an album of old New York.
For my mum I gave her a pair of new earrings and a matching bracelet for me, her and Morgan. For Dad I gave him my own set of blueprints. Needless to say that he cried a lot when he saw it.
After Morgan opened hers, it was my turn. I picked up the first gift which was from mum and dad. It was a dress and a new journal. From Auntie Nat and Uncle Bruce, they got me ballet flats and new books. From Uncle Steve a vintage style dress and some tap shoes. From Uncle Rhodes, he got me new earbuds and an ipod. From Uncle T, he got me a Wakandan made dress and new tech from Shuri. Uncle Steph gave me new Mystic Art rings, Uncle Scotty got me a coupon on "Scott and Athena Taco Day." Uncle Clint got me a ukulele and a promise on more 'lessons.' Uncle Thor gave me a bracelet from Asgard and Uncle Loki gave me Aunt Sig's old Hogwarts Journal. Uncle Sam and Uncle Buck gave me classic pranking materials I could sneak in Hogwarts. Wan gave me new pair of winter gloves and boots while Vis baked me brownies.
