ATHENA's POV
I ran towards the office. Stopping in front of the gargoyle I muttered the last password Dumbledore set. The statue eyed me and I saw the seal of the letter.
It moved aside and I ran inside. I rushed up the stairs and as I did I remembered what happened an hour ago.
Flashback
I felt magic around me and I shot up. I looked at Katie, she was still sleeping but the magic was still there.
I threw a protective shield around her as I summoned my mystic rings. I created a whip and gripped my wand.
I stood up from my bed and I followed the magic. I saw glowing from my trunk and I shook my head. I felt Draco tap my heart, I sent him reassurance and he calmed down.
I neared my trunk and used my magic to open it. The glow got brighter and I furrowed my eyebrows. Moving my things away I peaked and saw the thing.
It won't stop glowing and I didn't want to wake Katie up I sighed and moved my hand to touch it. It stopped and the orb slowly disappeared and there laid at the bottom of my trunk, a letter and watch.
Hearing Neville call for me telepathically, I cursed internally. "Rora, we have to go. Colin and Dennis are with Rolf. Alicia and Angel are already there."
Tonight was supposed to be the biggest attack, we had decided on the great hall and the courtyard. Sighing I was too intrigued with the letter, "Go I have something here I just received news." I felt him nod and I sent the group protective shields.
I reached inside my trunk and I gripped the watch. I stared at it and it felt familiar.
Looking at the letter, in one swift motion I opened it and read it.
Dearest Athena,
I am in deep gratitude of the sacrifices you have done for both of your worlds.
I may have lied when I had told you that your grandmother only thing he left is the journal, this watch is the final piece.
Each Salem heir has to offer the new one their magic after they have gone. Your grandmother had left this and you are right to assume that inside this watch is her magic.
When you get this letter I have been gone and in deepest regret, I do hope this reaches you in any way possible.
Unfortunately I do not know how to retrieve the magic but I know you can piece it all together.
