ATHENA's POV
I was sitting in the kitchen of Grimmauld Place. We arrived yesterday after we heard Harry was being brought there because he has a hearing for using magic outside school. I was sitting there with my family.
After what happened with the last task in the Triwizard Tournament, Dumbledore decided to ask help from us. What I wasn't expecting though was me being a part of the meeting, when Cedric, Fred and George wasn't even a part of it.
They were arguing on what happened and me and Professor Snape were the only ones silent. "Harry is old enough to learn-" "He is not James, Sirius! He is just a boy!" "A boy who has faced him multiple times Molly."
Rolling my eyes at the different arguments, everyone stopped when Dumbledore tapped his cup. We looked at him and he was observing everyone. "I have heard your arguments and I acknowledge all of them, unfortunately not all of them can be used for the sole purpose of Harry's safety."
I nodded in agreement, "Now I shall be attending Harry's hearing but that would be the last time I will be making an effort to save him. He must go through this year without me to further distance myself and our plans away from Voldemort. I fear that after the situation in the graveyard, their connection has strengthened."
I looked at him when I heard what he said. "Excuse me Professor but may I interject?" I finally said as everyone looked at me. He nodded for me to continue. "I am a bit confused as to why I am here? If I am here then it is unfair for the other kids that they aren't." I said in a serious voice and a blank face. I saw my family cringe when they saw how I acted.
He nodded again and turned to Severus, "You are here because you are an asset." My head of house said. I furrowed my eyebrows but my face turned into shock. "You want me to spy on Draco?" I said while clenching my jaw. Everyone tensed up, they knew how sensitive the topic of Draco was.
Not everyone trusted him and I understand but they couldn't do anything because the stars had written our story and no one can erase that. "No Miss Stark, I am merely stating that we want you to recruit them."
