a week passed and the group of four were currently roaming around the mall, looking for a certain shop that sold fancy clothes made for special occasions.

"i still can't believe jeno has a girlfriend," haechan let out an exasperated sigh as he stuffed his hands in his pocket.

"me too." renjun slumped his shoulders.

"i don't see what's wrong with that though, why are you guys acting so upset?" haeyoung asked as curiosity got the best of her.

"they made a dumb bet, apparently whoever gets a girlfriend first will get $10 from the others." mark elucidated, glad that he did not join the bet.

haeyoung made an 'o' shape with her mouth, finally understanding the fuss over it. "but i mean, out of the three of you (renjun, hyuck, jeno), i'd date jeno too," haeyoung simply told them.

"i'm hurt," renjun pretended to cry.

"this is betrayal." haechan scowled.

"but when did he get a girlfriend? i don't think i've heard him talking about a girl." haeyoung changed the subject and tilted her head in confusion.

"we have no idea either, we'd have to ask him that. ah, the shop is there!" haechan pointed out, brisk walking towards the shop.

"what should our colour theme be?" renjun asked, looking around at the different options they offered.

"will we be the only ones matching as a group?" mark queried, referring to renjun, haeyoung, haechan and himself.

"i guess, since jeno would most likely match with his girlfriend and jaemin might match with hyora." renjun told them. it was fine to talk about jaemin and hyora in front of haeyoung now, as she proclaimed that she got over him weeks ago.

"there might be some other students dressing up in the same colour as us, there aren't much options here," haeyoung said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"what about pink? i doubt many would choose this colour," haechan joked, pulling out a hot pink suit with matching pants.

"you'd look good in that," renjun commented, stifling a laugh.

"what an eyesore," mark shuddered playfully.

"hmm... white?" haechan pulled out a white blazer.

"haechan, your sense of fashion can't be helped." mark shook his head in embarrassment.

"he's trying to look like kaito kid." renjun laughed.

"no, he wants us to look like ghosts," haeyoung chimed in.

"haeyoung would be a real vibe killer if she walked into the party wearing full white, she'd look like a ghost." mark let out a laugh, taking out a pristine white oversized shirt from the clothing rack and holding it up in front of haeyoung.

"wow, thanks for the compliment." haeyoung sneered.

"why does this plain shirt cost $20?! i could easily buy one outside for like, i don't know, $5?" haechan gawked, noticing the price tag.

"this place is high end." renjun blatantly told him. "what about black?" renjun asked the three.

"boring."

"basic."

"lame."

"wow, thanks guys."

"brown?" mark asked, pulling out a velvet brown suit.

"no, look at purple," haeyoung awed, taking out a velvet purple suit paired with black accents from the rack. (nct 127 indonesia tv award)
