weeks flew by quickly as the past few days were filled with papers being distributed and students wasting time on a piece of paper using their random knowledge called tests. slowly but surely, they finished all their papers and got back their results.

surprisingly, haeyoung and gayoung got 90 percent for their history project despite only getting 60 percent for their mock project, making them one of the top scorers. they exchanged smiles and praised each other whilst getting back their papers.

gayoung headed back to her seat, flaunting her marks proudly while haeyoung was the complete opposite, very humble about her marks as she did not brag nor show off.

recess finally came and the 6 of them went to their usual table, conversing about their overall results.

"i got 293/400 for my overall." haechan shrugged and bit into his bread.

"i got 293/400 as well," renjun sighed and sunk into his seat.

"321." mark said and a huge smile spread across his face. quite gleefully, if you ask me.

"okay mark we get it, you're smart. my overall is 298." jaemin sighed.

"jeno got 312 while i got 318. everyone still did great though." haeyoung spoke for jeno and finished eating her yoghurt.

"it's crazy how this isn't even for our finals and we're already under so much stress. i'm going to go crazy." haechan huffed, the rest agreeing with him.

not long after, the bell rang, signalling that it was time for their next lesson, literature.

"this has been bothering me for quite awhile now, where are chenle and jisung?" renjun asked, curious as to why chenle and jisung never joins them in the cafeteria.

"since they're younger than us, their break time is different from ours. we should be able to see them along the way back to class though. especially jisung, his class is always dismissed early." haeyoung explained, hoping to reduce the confusion.

"i'm jealous he gets dismissed early," jeno heaved out a small sigh.

MARK:
it's valentine's day tomorrow, who are you guys spending it with?

JENO:
my cats

CHENLE:
you have cats? since when?

HAEYOUNG:
why didn't we see them when we went to your house? i want to play with them :(

JENO:
my dad just adopted them! i still haven't thought of the names yet tho

RENJUN:
at least you won't get bored while being grounded anymore. hyuck, chenle, jisung and i are gonna hang out tomorrow at the beach after school. anyone else wanna join?

MARK:
can i join? i'll be lonely tomorrow :(

RENJUN:
sure! what about haeyoung and jaemin? can you guys join? we'll be meeting at my house first

JAEMIN:
i'll be celebrating my cousin, jaehyun's birthday :)

MARK:
jaehyun is back from america?

JAEMIN:
yep! he's currently staying at his friends place in busan so i won't be going to school tomorrow as i have to head there quite early
