"haeyoung, gayoung is looking for you." renjun went up to haeyoung, stopping her from sweeping the floor.

"gayoung?"

"yeah, she wants to meet you in the music room."

"oh okay," she passed the broom to renjun and made her way to the music room, curiousity clouding her mind.

she peeked through the door and saw gayoung on her phone, tapping away. haeyoung opened the door wider and gayoung looked up from her phone, finally noticing her presence.

"you made it!" gayoung beamed.

"yeah, of course. what do you want to tell me?"

"i heard you're with jaemin now."

"how'd you know...?"

"doesn't matter. are you going to break his heart?" she smiled, quite sinisterly.

"i don't think so," haeyoung replied casually.

"why not? you don't love him, do you?"

"like i said, i'm not going to break his heart. i'm not breaking anyone's heart."

"you remember what i told you right?"

haeyoung had to stop and think for awhile.

"i made myself clear and i'm not changing my mind about it. it's either you break his heart or i will embarrass you. also, break him before he breaks you." (chapter 5)

"break him before he breaks you?" haeyoung asked her, confused by what gayoung was saying.

she nodded her head.

"what does that sentence mean?"

"if you're so curious, wouldn't you like to find out yourself?" gayoung smirked.

"is he going to break me? do you know something i don't?" haeyoung gripped her wrist before she left the room, making her come into a halt.

"i don't know, do i?" with that, she left the room.

haeyoung was bewildered. was that what she wanted to talk about? break him before he breaks you? at this point, haeyoung was doubting her relationship with jaemin. was he playing her? he couldn't be, right? only time will tell.

she was so lost in thought that she didn't hear the tardy bell ring. with heavy footsteps, she made her way out of the music room and into the garden.

she may not like jaemin as much as he had claimed to like her, but she cared about his feelings too.

"i'll just control my feelings and then i'll breakup with him. there, it's that easy haeyoung, you can do it. you have the app to help you too, you're going to be alright." she told herself. but is it really that easy?

"haeyoung! where were you? you went missing after meeting gayoung in the music room. are you okay? what happened?" jeno bombarded haeyoung with questions once he found haeyoung sleeping on the garden's bench.

"what time is it?" haeyoung asked as she squinted her eyes, adjusting to the bright sunlight shining down on her.

"10:30. seriously, what happened? we were all worried about you. your phone wasn't on and jaemin couldn't even pay attention in class," he rambled.
