Chapter 29 (Start over)

"I told you that we were supposed to accompany you that day and all of this won't happened" Day nag at me.

I rolled my eyes and pretend not to hear what he said. He then sit on the bed and force me to look at him.

"Sis, I'm worried about you. What if something worse than this happened to you? I won't be able to forgive myself." He said worriedly.

"Dayyyy.. forgive me okay? I promise after this I won't be doing anything dangerous like that anymore. Besides, I didn't know that Rizq would act aggressively like that. Just thinking about him give me goosebumps." I replied to him.

Day still have a lot to say but he choose to seal his lips because he knew that he won't win anyway. He pinch my cheek and get down from my bed.

"Yan, how is your wound?" My mom look at me and caress my head.

"I think it's doing okay. Sometimes it hurt but not too bad, it is bearable" My answer makes my mom sigh with relief.

"You know, Oat has been taking care of you since he arrive. He supposed to have a lot of event but he choose to postponed all of them and being scold by his manager. He was really worried about you and he didn't even want to go eat because he afraid that you might wake up and he isn't there with you."

I slowly look at Oat and saw him talking with Dew. I keep staring at him and wonder how can a man like him exist in my life? He turns his gaze to me and our eyes met. He then give me the sweetest smile in the world. Is it too early if I said I was falling to this guy?

The doctor said that I can be discharge in the afternoon since my condition is good. I cheers happily because hospital is so boring and I can't wait to go back home. Lara and Sammy can't come to the hospital today since they got something to do but they promise that they will visit me later.

My phone vibrates to indicate that there is someone calling me.

"Helloooo.. Syahmi, where are you going? I didn't see you since I was conscious"

"I'm sorry Yan, I'm so ashamed to meet you. I tried my best to come to you as soon as possible on that day, but I got into an accident and I tried to call you but you didn't pick up your phone. I tried to settle everything with the person that I got into the accident but he is so fastidious and we took a lot of time to settle all things. I'm really sorry because I can't be someone that you can rely on just like what I have promise to you. I'm such a failure"

"Heyyy, don't say that. At least you still come and punch that guy. Who knows what will happen to me if you didn't come. I might end up in the incinerator right now because they want to dispose my body" I said jokingly.

My mom heard what I said and slap my shoulder. I winched.

"Anyway, please don't think too much about this. Right now I'm safe and sound right? That's what matters. You must come to my house tonight. My mom said she want to cook for all of us. Right mom?"

I winked at my mom and she just shook her head. My mom never said that but she would agree with it anyway. I just want Syahmi not to think too much about it. So the best solution for it is to ask him dinner with us and talk to him face to face. I don't want our friendship to be ruin again.

After hanging up the phone, we clean up our things and getting ready to get out of the hospital. I sleep all the way from hospital to our home. The medicine is too strong and I can't barely open my eyes.

"Yan, wake up. We are already here" I look around and saw they already park the car in front of the gate. I lazily get down from the car and wait for Dew to open the gate. Then I went into my room and continue my sleep.
