Chapter 3: The Star

Tuesday, July 24, 2018, 17:00 PHT

I went home at around 4 pm. It was traffic again kaya nakarating ako sa bahay around 5 PM na. It was a tiring day, especially hindi pa natapos ang pag-enroll ko and I still had to go back tomorrow to enroll in NSTP subject. One last subject and I'm done!

"I'm home." I said as soon as I stepped inside the house. My eyes darted straight to the kitchen.

Hala, I thought may handa ako?

I make a sad face. I had this feeling na may surprise sila sa akin.

Kami-kami na lang nandito sa bahay may pa-surprise pa! Ahh baka nandito si Kuya!

I chuckled with my own thoughts. I slipped my feet on my house slippers and sneaked into my room upstairs. I immediately put my sling bag on the mini table beside the bed and ready myself to take a quick shower.

I'm kind of anal kasi. I may say hindi sobrang OC pero parang ganon, I only wanted my things always in order—I looked at my bookshelf next to room door na may alcohol at sanitizer sa ibabaw.

Okay, fine. You can touch my books pero mag-sanitize ka muna ng kamay mo..

I walked towards the bookshelf, then hinarap ko sa akin 'yong may brand name ng alcohol at sanitizer, at iniayos ang nakasabit na sign saying "Sanitize first before touching ANYTHING. Thanks. -Ceska" with a smile drawing next to my name.

May pumasok dito sa kwarto ko ng hindi inayos ang pagkakalagay ng gamit ko—bwisit...

I automatically checked my books when I realized na may pumasok nga sa kwarto ko. The idea was making me feel annoyed. I run my fingers on my books to check if those are dirty. Nakahinga ako ng maayos kasi malinis naman, pero naningkit lalo ang mga mata ko nang makita kong kulang ng isa ang libro ko.

Nasaan na ang librong Red Queen?! My breathing heaved.

Francine. Punyeta naman. My eyebrows were knitting together. Kaasar.

Breathe in. Breathe out, Ceska. Huwag masyadong mabadtrip. I tried calming myself for a while before I decided to take a shower para malamigan ako.

I have my own restroom in my room and a not so walk-in closet if it does make sense. It's a mini room with my study table inside together with the not-so-big closet.

My room is divided into three parts. It was my Dad's idea, anyway. Yung half, which is the largest part 'yong may bed saka bookshelf, and a mini table na patungan lang talaga ng lampshade.

Then the other half is also divided into two. There are three doors; two papasok sa dalawang room then may isa na nag-coconnect doon. If I am sitting on my bed on the right side, I am facing the two small rooms; on my left side is the restroom that is beside the main door of my room, whereas on the right is the other room na may study table and closet, na malapit naman sa mini table.

I walked inside the study room with my sling bag on my right hand para maibalik sa lalagyan ko ng bags. I prepared my clothes; yellow pajama and yellow t-shirt na may SpongeBob drawing sa harap then I proceeded to the shower room para makaligo. Funny thing is, I still wear pair clothes kapag natutulog, if not, hindi talaga ako makakatulog ng maayos.

I finished showering for 10 minutes and dressed myself for five minutes. Of course, nag-apply pa ako ng toner sa mukha para mas matanggal yung mga dumi lalo na bumyahe ako kanina so I really needed to clean my face to prevent acne, kahit hindi naman talaga ako tinatagyawat. Anyway, kanina pa ako kating kati na lumabas para kausapin si Francine dahil kinuha niya ang libro ko, at sure ako don.
