I woke up with Lexi cuddling in my bed with me, she always waited for me to get up and came in here to lay down until then. She knew I was awake and crawled on top of me straddling me.

"Hi mommy." She cooed pressing her nose to mine.

"Hi baby." I said kissing her forehead as I sat up. "Are you hungry for some Lucky Charms?" Her face lit up as she crawled off of me and ran downstairs. I followed after her and poured her a bowl of cereal as she sat in her seat eating it.

We sat there eating our breakfast as my phone started to ring, I looked down and noticed it was Ashton, ignoring it I groaned when he called once again. "Who's calling mommy?" Lexi asked and I sighed.

"No one important baby." I told her while I finished up my last bite of cereal. I began cleaning the dishes when I heard a knock on the door, Lexi went to open it and I looked to see no one there, kinda strange. Lexi shut the door and was carrying something over to me.

"Here mommy." She smiled handing me a red rose with a note attached to it. I opened up the note and read it silently.

I know I don't deserve your forgiveness after being gone for so long but if you let me make it up to you, can I have one more chance? I swear I won't blow it this time Addie, I miss you so much it hurts, I'm so sorry for everything.

I looked down at the note and felt a wave of emotions hit me. I was upset with him, furious, sad and happy, I want to give him another chance because I miss him to but I just can't afford to get hurt again.

"Wuke!" Lexi cheered as I turned around to see her in Luke's arms hugging him tightly. I gave him a smile before looking back down at the note. Luke walked in and set Lexi on the counter as he wrapping his arms around my waist and hugged me before pressing his lips to my temple.

"Whatcha got there?" Luke asked now reading the note from behind me. I heard a slight growl escape his lips as he picked up the note to examine it closer. "I'm going to kill him." Luke mumbled clenching his fists and slamming the note down on the table.

"I don't know what to do Luke." I said running my fingers through my messy curly hair.

"You aren't actually thinking about giving him yet another chance are you?" Luke asked and I shrugged.

"I don't know, I'm torn between emotions right now." I sighed pinching the bridge of my nose. This was all stressing me out right now.

"I don't think he deserves another chance." Luke admitted crossing his arms. I looked over at Lexi who was distracted by a mini coloring book I had put on the counter.

"I gave you one didn't I?" I asked and Luke opened his mouth but closed it slowly groaning.

"That was different, I didn't leave you for four years now did I?" Luke shot back and I was going to say something but decided against it knowing Luke was right.

"No, but he came over last night-"

"He what?!" Luke asked furiously with widened eyes as he cut me off.

"Yeah he was at my doorstep last night." I said and Luke shook his head.

"How did he even- Harry cracked." Luke groaned throwing his head back.

"Yeah.." I sighed.

"I'm going to kick his ass." Luke growled clenching his fists. He hated that Ashton had left me, hell all the boys did but it got to Luke the most. He's the one that visited me all the time and comforted me when I had dreams about Ashton or even thought about him. Luke was there.

"Maybe, I should give him one more chance?" I questioned and Luke's eyes widened as his jaw clenched.

"He doesn't deserve one, he left you Addie without warning and didn't even care that you were pregnant, he never gave you his time of day whenever you called him. I can't stand what he did to you and I'm not going to watch him do that to you apart again." Luke said angrily. He was now pacing around and running his fingers through his hair taking deep breaths.

"Luke I still love him and I never stopped, I miss him.." I admitted slumping my shoulders.

"Jesus Addie will you wake up? He's got to have a catch if he's all of a sudden coming back, did you ever think about that?" Luke snapped at me causing me to jump.

"Well no-"

"Exactly no, because you never think!" He snapped once again cutting me off this time. He was so overwhelmed with anger that he was getting mad at me.

"Luke." I said with a crack in my voice and quivering lip. Luke's features changed once he realized I was about to cry and that's one thing he hated most, seeing a girl cry.

He slowly walked over to me and pulled me into his chest and hugged me tightly while he swayed slowly and rested his chin on the top of my head. "I'm sorry," he said now brushing my hair with his fingers, "It's just that I don't want to see you get hurt again." Luke mumbled and I hugged him tighter.

"Maybe we can start talking as friends and nothing more until I know I can trust him enough to give him one more chance." I suggested and Luke actually nodded.

"Just remember if he hurts you and someone find him dead and everyone asks what happened, I did it." Luke said sassily with a chuckle although I had a feeling that he wasn't kidding.

"I guess I'll give him a call." I said taking a deep breath and grabbing my phone to dial Ashton's number as it rang.
