After awhile I went back into the living room, sitting on the love seat scrunched up in a ball covering a blanket over me while I watched the movie I had put in which was almost over. Lexi was still eating ice cream while Ashton kept rewetting the washcloth for her and putting it on her head. I'm so glad he's in Lexi's life now, she seems a lot happier when Ashton's around her.

"You okay babe?" Ashton asked me and I nodded my head at him and he shook his head walking towards me and meeting me at eye level. "No you aren't, what's wrong?" He asked rubbing my back and kissing me on the cheek.

"Luke's mad at me, it's nothing I'll get over it." I said sighing and Ashton kissed the side of my head.

"I'm sorry baby, wanna snuggle?" He cooed pressing his nose to my cheek.

"That'd be nice." I smiled as Ashton laid behind me wrapping his arm around my waist and resting his head in the crook of my neck.

"You okay Lexi?" Ashton asked her, she nodded snuggling up in her blanket and eating the ice cream Ashton had given her more of. "Our poor little girl." Ashton cooed tightening his grip around me.

"She's never been this sick before." I told Ashton as he situated himself so he was more comfortable.

"She'll get better, we're taking care of her." He said kissing my jawline.

"I hope she gets better soon." I said, a knock on the door made me groan but get up to answer it. There stood Zayn with a teddy bear, a balloon and a rose in his hand smiling at me.

"I heard she was sick." Zayn said and I nodded allowing him to come into the house. He walked over to Lexi who sat up quickly and jumped up to hug Zayn who chuckled.

"Zen." She said happily resting her head in the crook of Zayn's neck as he hugged her tightly.

"I heard you were sick, so I brought you something." Zayn said handing her the teddy bear which she hugged. "You like it?" He asked and she nodded.

"Thank you Zen." She said giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Anytime princess." Zayn said giving her a kiss right back.

"How did you know she was sick?" Ashton asked and Zayn turned around looking offended.

"I am God, I know all, peasant." Zayn said chuckling.

"How did you really know?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Niall told me and Calum told him so yeah." Zayn explained.

I finally sat back down until my phone rang again. Can I not rest for five minutes? Groaning I got up to answer it and it was an unknown number.

"Hello?" I answered warily not knowing who this is.

"Remember me?" A deep voice said causing me to shiver. I knew exactly who it belonged to. "Your silence makes me take that as a yes." He chuckled and I clenched my fists at my side.

"What do you want?" I asked rudely which probably isn't the best way to talk to him like that.

"I want what my partner couldn't finish," he snarled, "You and my fucking money." He snapped.

"What?"

"Don't play dumb. I know your boyfriend gave Nick fake money, I want my real money or else." He threatened. I was afraid to ask my next question but before I could think the words already left my mouth.

"Or else what?" I asked nervously as chewed my bottom lip.

"Or else your precious daughter will pay the price." He said darkly and I felt my heart beat faster as I turned around to look at Lexi. "Just remember we're watching your every move. If you think your one step ahead you're wrong, we'll always know your next move before you do." He said making me look around the house now feeling unsafe.

"Babe who are you talking to?" Ashton asked and I held up my pointer finger at him telling him to hang on a second.

"Don't even try to hide either, we'll know. I want my money by the end of the month. You have fifteen days, I'll be counting. Tick tock, tick tock, tick." And he hung up right after that. I felt like I was going to get sick, I fell to the floor and started to have an anxiety attack again. I was coughing and trying to breath but I just couldn't, I was freaking out.

"Addie!" Ashton yelled running over to me and kneeling next to me. He realized I was breathing irregularly and began rubbing my back and shushing me. "Breath Addie, breath. I'm here, okay? I'm here." Ashton said trying to calm me down. I felt tears stream down my face as he hugged me tightly still rubbing my back.

"A-Ashton." I cried out as my voice cracked when I spoke his name.

"I'm here baby." He reassured me kissing my temple. "I'm here." He repeated.

"It's, L-Liam." I whimpered and Ashton's body became stiff while Zayn's eyes widened.

"Is that who called?" He asked and I nodded. "What did he want?" He asked.

"He wants his money by the end of the month, if not-" I paused covering my mouth so I didn't make a noise when I cried, "He said Lexi would pay the price if it wasn't paid." I cried even harder now knowing that Lexi was in harms way and I never wanted that to happen. I've always been afraid that something like this would come.

"We won't let him get her, okay." Zayn said reassuring me as he held Lexi even closer to him.

"He's watching us, our every move.." I whimpered now placing my head into my hands crying. "What are we going to do?" I asked looking up at Ashton who looked over at Zayn with a scared look.

"I'll call Niall and Harry." Zayn said taking out his phone and pressing it to his ear while he rocked Lexi back and forth in his arms.

"If anything happens to our little girl, I'll never forgive myself for putting both of you into harms way.." Ashton mumbled resting his head in the crook of my neck.

"Hey Harry, we've got a problem."
