Lexi became quiet all of a sudden, I mean she wasn't completely silent she'd talk but make it short. All she wanted was Ashton and she really wanted to go visit him, the problem is I don't know how bad he is yet. I don't want her to be scared of what she's sees and nor do I, I won't be able to control myself if I see him hooked up to machines and everything else.

"I think we should take her." Niall said leaning over the counter so he was now in my face. I looked into his blue eyes and started to walk away but he grabbed my wrist. "I know you're afraid but you can't hide this from her." Niall said.

"I don't want her to be scared of what she sees. She's only four Niall." I reminded him yanking my wrist out of his hold.

"Addie, we'll be right there for her, yes it'll be scary but she'll know what's going on instead of being told little white lies." Niall explained and I chewed on my bottom lip.

"Fine, I'll go get her dressed." I said and Niall stopped me once again.

"You go get dressed, I've got Lexi." He said running up the stairs to her room. I went into mine as I changed clothes. I put on yoga pants and Ashton's hoodie that I wore last night. I felt like my heart was breaking, I couldn't take this pain I was feeling inside. I missed Ashton's presence, his hugs, his kisses, everything.

Niall knocked on the door and there stood Lexi in sweatpants and a zip up hoodie with her hair up in a messy bun. I looked up at Niall and he smiled widely. "Looks like it's a bum day baby." I told her leaning down to give her a kiss on her forehead.

She looked up at me with Niall's phone in her hand playing Crossy Road. Niall picked her up as she continued to play her game and we all went downstairs. I grabbed the car keys as we headed out the door now, getting into the car Niall buckled up Lexi but before he did he took the keys out of my hand and held them above his head so I couldn't reach them. "I'm driving." He said getting into the car, groaning I got in the passenger seat as Niall started up the car.

Pulling out of the drive way we began heading down the road, getting onto the highway Niall began to speed, his hands gripping the wheel tightly as he checked the mirror to see if anyone was in the lane he wanted to get in. Fifteen minutes passed and we were finally at the hospital. Niall parked the car and took the keys out before he stepped out of the car and got Lexi out. Niall walked over beside me and grabbed my hand holding it and giving me a worried look with a shy smile.

We walked into the hospital and went up to the lady working at the desk, we stood there for awhile until Niall finally lost his patience and rang the bell repeatedly until the lady got annoyed slamming her hand on top of his to get him to stop. "How may I help, you?" She asked irritated.

"What room is Ashton Irwin in?" Niall asked politely and the lady began looking at her sheet of paper to find out what room he's in.

"Room one fiften." She said sighing, thanking her we began to walk faster to get to his room. We knew we had reached it when I saw Zayn and Harry sat outside running their fingers through their hair. They both looked like they hadn't slept in hours.

"Zen." Lexi said squirming out of Niall's hold and running to Zayn as he engulfed her into a big hug. He sniffled and wiped under his so Lexi didn't notice that he was sad.

"Hi princess." He chuckled lightly trying to cheer up but I knew deep down he couldn't, Harry sat there tugging at his curls and keeping his face buried into the palms of his hands.

"How bad is it?" Niall asked nervously as he ran his fingers through his already messy blonde hair.

Their silence put me over the edge as I opened his door and stepped inside to see nurses surrounding him trying to see what was the matter. Pushing my way through I finally got to his side and looked down at him. I began bawling my eyes out grabbing Ashton's hand as I screamed out in pain letting the tears fall down my face.

"Ashton!" I cried out gripping his hand as one of the nurses tried to guide me out of the room, refusing I stayed holding Ashton's hand. That's when they began to call security and I began running my fingers through Ashton's hair, "Ashton I'm so sorry this happened, I love you I'm so sorry!" I cried out, security came in and picked me up, refusing I grabbed onto a chair as they began to drag me and the chair.

Niall came running in and told the security guards to back off as they set me down. Niall gave me a hug as he scooped me up bridal style escorting me out of Ashton's room as tears stained my cheeks. He sat down in one of the chairs outside and held me close to him, Lexi having no idea what was going on stayed with Zayn as I cried my eyes out. Niall rubbed my back trying to comfort me as he shushed in my ear and kissed my temple.

"Addie it's okay, just breath. Shhh." He cooed trying to calm me down but I was so worked up at this point that I couldn't. I feel like it's all my fault he's here and it probably is.

"I-it's my f-fault he's h-here." I stuttered unable to catch my breath, I was in hysterics I began gripping Niall's t-shirt as I cried into his shoulder.

"Adelaide," Niall groaned making me look into his eyes which were blurred from me crying so hard. "This isn't your fault, don't even think that." Niall said tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Addie none of this is your doing, alright." Harry said moving so that he was sat by Niall as he helped try to relax me. "It was an accident." Harry said.

"But-"

"Don't even try to say it's your fault Addie, it isn't. If anything it's mine," Zayn said with a long sigh running his fingers through his hair. "I've gotten him into hell, all of these boys. If I hadn't of brought them into this we wouldn't have to be worrying about everything right now. It's my fault alright." Zayn said putting all the blame on himself.

Everyone got quiet for awhile not sure how to respond to what Zayn had just said. I finally calmed down enough as I reached into Niall's pocket and grabbed my keys before standing up wiping under my eyes. "Meet me back at the house, I need to go do something." I said walking off before any of the boys could question what I was doing.

I got into the car and started it up, pulling out of the parking lot I began driving down the road to think about everything that's happening right now.
