Addie

We were at the airport now and I've managed to stay calm the whole way through security, it was until we got to our flight that I was freaking out. I've hated planes ever since I was six and lost my dad, I've never even been on one either but I guess that day has come. I don't know why we couldn't just drive, we could all bond but Ashton said that by plane is faster.

We sat down waiting for them to tell us to board and I was shaking, Ashton had took Lexi to the restroom and I sat with our bags. I was taking deep breaths along with drinking water trying to relax but I just couldn't, I was nervous and scared. I'm surprised I haven't had an anxiety attack yet, but I'm sure I'll have one on the plane.

"Mommy look what daddy got me!" I heard Lexi squeal as she crawled into my lap with a bag of gummy bears in her hand. I looked up at him and he smiled shyly.

"Let's wait until we're on the plane to eat those baby." I told her now putting them into my backpack that I had brought, Ashton told me not to because it looked like I could fit ten cats in it but I wanted it to pack extra clothes just in case something happened to ours, I even had Lexi bring her book bag with whatever she wanted in it.

"I get to see a Mickey Mouse!" Lexi cheered now wrapping her arms around my neck hugging me and giggling.

"And all the princess." Ashton said to her and she started jumping up and down on my legs before crawling over to the next seat and jumping on that.

"I want to see the prince!" She said with a big smile.

"There's a lot of princes there baby, who do you want to see?" I asked trying to see what specific prince she was looking for.

"All of them!" She squealed and Ashton looked like he was about to lose it since he tensed up as his eyes went wide.

He chuckled nervously, "No no." Ashton said shaking his head.

"Ashton." I sighed and he still shook his head.

"Absolutely not, no princes." Ashton strictly said and Lexi got a big smile on her face.

"I want to see Peter!" She said and Ashton looked down at her.

"No princes baby girl." He cooed.

"He's not a prince daddy." She cooed right back to him and I couldn't help but giggle.

"She has such a valid point." I pointed out to Ashton and he groaned before sitting next to me without saying a word.

"I was just sassed by my four year old daughter." Ashton mumbled and I intertwined our fingers kissing his cheek.

"You'll get over it babe." I told him and he groaned but he knew he couldn't pout forever.

"The flight to Atlanta, Georgia is now boarding." I heard over the intercom and I squeezed Ashton's hand ow becoming nervous about this.

Ashton picked up Lexi and held her at his hip as he brushed his thumb over the back of my hand before pressing his lips to my cheek. We got into line and waited until we got to the front to hand the nice lady our tickets. I tensed up as we began boarding the plane, I wasn't ready for this, I almost wanted to tell Ashton that I wanted to go home and couldn't handle this. But I didn't want to disappoint Lexi because she's really excited to go and it'd be terrible of me to turn back now..

We walked onto the plane and I was so close to losing it, I was so scared since it was wobbly once we kept walking back. We finally found our seats and Lexi crawled in and sat by the window, then Ashton sat in the middle while I sat on the outside. Ashton buckled up Lexi as I began to buckle myself, I took deep breaths and gripped onto the armrest as I closed my eyes and tried to relax.

"Addie baby relax, it'll be okay, I'm here for you." I heard Ashton whisper into my ear as he intertwined our fingers before kissing my on my cheek. I'm literally shaking, and I may or may not have a panic attack soon. I just need to stay calm and think of soothing things.

Like when Ashton rubs my back and kisses my temple while whispering cute things into my ear. Or when we snuggle he holds me tight and close as if he never wants to let go, like he'll lose me. When he runs his fingers through my hair as I lay on his chest, the sound of to hear his heartbeat.

It's been about ten minutes since we've boarded and haven't moved yet, until I heard someone tell us to take our seats and watch the flight attendants as they show us safety procedures. The plane was moving as they demonstrated how to use the oxygen masks and the life jackets. The pilot over the intercom told us to sit back, relax and have a nice flight before the lights when out and I felt my heart start to race faster and faster.

Ashton still had my hand in his while he held Lexi's in his other as he sat back and relaxed. Tensing up I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, the plane stopped for a few seconds before it felt like it was speeding. I squeezed Ashton's hand as he sat up and pressed his lips below my ear.

"Listen to the soothing sound of my voice baby," Ashton cooed into my ear, I still squeezed his hand maybe even a little tighter but I was glad he was talking to me. "I'm here and there's nothing to fear, I love you so much baby, never forget it." Ashton said as I felt a drop in my stomach knowing that we were no longer on the ground but now in the air. Lexi started giggling and I just couldn't open my eyes, I was too afraid to look.

We were in the air for about ten minutes or longer before they told us we could unbuckle our seat belts and move about. I opened my eyes and looked over to see Ashton smiling at me before pressing his lips to mine, smiling into the kiss he pulled away.

"You're so brave babe." Ashton said pressing our foreheads together. Lexi seemed to be very comfortable since she had a coloring book out along with Ashton's phone on the little pull out tray. A nice lady came by and asked us if we wanted drinks and we told her what we wanted before she walked to the next row of people.

We'd be on this plane for another hour and a half before we land in Georgia and then have to do this all over again to get to Florida. I just laid my head back and closed my eyes praying we landed soon.
