Chapter 38

Nanatili pa ako sa condo na ito for about 1 hour. When I got my soberness state, I decided to go home. My true home. Where I can find my peace. Where I can calm my soul. Where I can explode this unwanted feelings and emotions.

"Honey, how are you?" Si mommy. Nang makarating ako sa bahay, I immediately went straight to my room. Agad sinubsob ang mukha matapos lingunin ang pumasok.

"What happened" she said. I felt that she sat down beside me.

I feel her warmth unconditional love as she caressed my hair. You know that feeling? When you know that your mom has always been there by your side. Even how much busy she was at least she managed to comfort me at my dark times.

Mom's love isn't irreplaceable. It's like it'll hunt you if you tried to get rid of it.

"It's okay, honey" napatayo ako sa sinabi niya. Kinusot ko ang mga matang namumugto.

"Mom, I don't really know what happened. I didn't get it why he had to break up with me. Wala akong ginawang masama" naiiyak na sabi ko. I saw how the way she pity me right now.

"Baby, it's fine. It's okay to be slowly. It's not a race and it'll never be. I just want you to know that the finish line is patiently waiting for you. That's why,no need to rush everything,darling" she held my face and kissed my forehead.

"Don't mind him because he don't mind you anyway.. " tumango ako at hinayaang tumulo ang mga luha.

"Mag pahinga ka na" she stood up and gave me sweet smile. I lay down and closed my eyes. She fixed the comforter before she turns off the light.

I remained silent as I attentively listening to the sound of the wind that comes from the huge glass window.

"Good morning, Miss. Acia. Ready na po ang breakfast" bungad sa akin ng maide nang makababa ako ng hagdan.

They are all busy decorating something. The long ribbons were place like a wave like at the wall.

They even cleaned the chandelier. The red carpet was already vacuumed.

"Where's the invitations? The arranger,natawagan na? Make it quick" aniya sa kaniyang sekretarya.

"Mom? What's happening here?" I asked as soon as I sat down to eat my breakfast.

"What? Tomorrow is your birthday,darling" naguguluhang tanong niya. Tila hindi makapaniwala.

Napatakip ako nang maisip na birthday ko na nga pala talaga bukas!

I forgot. Oh god.

"Ah,yes" I laughed awkwardly.

Nang matapos akong kumain,pumasok na agad ako. Mom said, I should invite my new blockmates and also the profs. But is sounds awkward if I invite them. Maybe close friends na lang...ala rin pala. Basta kahit sinong may gusto.

I went to my biology class. Tahimik na nakikinig ang iba. Kaya naman nang matapos ang klase ay pumunta agad ako sa library dahil ala yung prof namin sa next class. Baka makita ko si Kael sa cafeteria kung do'n ako tarambay.No way.

Kumuha lang ako ng libro sa physics at anatomy para basahin. I placed my phone at the top of the table. Nang sa gano'n ay makita agad kung may mag message. Baka lang maalala nila na.. birthday ko bukas.

Pero natapos ang oras ko, Wala pa rin.

Tahimik akong pumunta sa susunod kong subject. Hanggang sa matapos at pumasok na sa major subject ko. Huli na 'to. Plano kong pumunta sa mall para makabili nang susuotin bukas. Gabi naman ang party sa bahay.
