To our luck, Hyerin's and mine, it was a nice summer afternoon. Of course the idea of having a picnic wasn't my idea, but I still liked it.

"At what time will you be coming back?" My father asks with an authoritative tone.

"Before seven, I promise." I tell him smiling.

"Remember to take your special toothbrush for your braces." He says with a mocking tone.

I roll my eyes.

"I know."

I always had it with me. I hated when a piece of food got stuck in my teeth, and if I went to Hyerin's house, I didn't really mind since she would tell me. However, today some of her friends will be there, and I wanted to look presentable.

I hated my rabbit teeth. Of course, now they were better, since two years with braces on my teeth made them better. I'm supposed to take them off in a few months, but I still haven't gone to the dentist. These metal pieces hurt like hell and they looked horrible on me. There are some girls who look pretty with them but I wasn't one of them.

"I'm leaving!" I say while I open the door.

"Have fun!" My father says back.

I walk to the bus stop and wait. Once it arrives, I get on and safely arrive at the park. I can see Hyerin, who's sitting in between a guy's legs. I get a little nervous, since all the attention is on me.

"Areum!" Hyerin coos. "Guys, she's Areum."

"Hi." I wave my hand a bit embarrassed.

"This is Jay..." She says signaling towards the guy behind her, and then she signals towards the guy under her. "And this is Taehyung."

Jay greets me with a smile, but Taehyung stares at me. He does that for a few seconds, and when I blush, he looks away. I sit down next to him, since it's the only space that's open, and I play with my fingers uncomfortably. Guys usually stare at Hyerin, not me.

"I like your shirt." Taehyung says with a smile.

His eyes are so pretty, and when he smiles, his mouth forms a cute shape.

I look down at my shirt instinctively and I look at the words written on it: "I hate Mondays."

"Well, yeah... who doesn't hate Mondays?" I ask a bit nervous.

He laughs and I hit myself mentally. First of all, because I wore this stupid shirt when it's not Monday, and then, for saying incoherences. I've always had problems talking to the opposite gender, and going to a girls-only school didn't help.

"I like you." He says leaning towards me. "You have a better sense of humor than Hyerin."

I look at my friend who's talking with Jay.

"Well... she likes to joke around too." I shrug my shoulders.

He looks at me in the eyes. Taehyung is sweet, maybe too much. And since that moment, I knew that I would fall in love with him.

And I wasn't wrong... right?

a/n: i finally updated...

don't kill me! <3

lately i haven't had time, motivation or inspiration. i feel like if i write something, it has to be because i like it and because i want to.

if i'm not in tune with the characters or the story, the writing will be bad, and i know that i won't like it.

thank you for the ones who are still reading!
