Once we get to the party, I see a guy with a black eye and a bloody lip, and that alarms me. I know that Jungkook is an incredible boxer, but that doesn't mean that he's immortal. I'm scared, I have to admit it.
Hyerin messaged Jimin to confirm whether Jungkook was fighting today, but he never responded. I feel nervous; and I get even more nervous when I know that the boxers from "everything goes" usually always end up with broken bones or end up fainting because of a huge hit. I never knew that I would be worried for Jungkook, and much less when it's clear that Jungkook is a professional, but I can't help it.
I try to not give it much importance and we walk into the huge crowd of people. The whole world is celebrating, and that's a good sign. That means that the group the guys are betting for is winning, and maybe everything went well after all.
"Guys!" Hyerin greets a few guys who are around a table playing poker.
One stands up from his seat and gives her a bright smile.
"Hyerin, I didn't know you would be coming."
"I'm very unpredictable, I know." Hyerin says, laughing.
I stay behind while she talks to him. The rest keep playing poker and don't notice our presence. My eyes run through the place, looking for Jungkook in between all the different faces.
"Areum!" She exclaims, signaling me to go to her. "He is Yoongi, he's friends with Jungkook and Jimin."
I nod.
"Hi."
"It's a pleasure, Hyerin has said amazing things about you." He smiles. "Although I'm not exactly a friend of Jungkook and Jimin."
"Yoongi works at the club, but he's still a newbie." My friend explains.
I nod again.
"Do you fight?"
"Sometimes, but I don't get paid well do it." He shrugs his shoulders. "I can't expect to get privileges when I've only been working there for six months."
"You know Namjoon is a tough cookie." Hyerin responds, laughing.
"He just needs time, that's it." Yoongi says, taking away importance.
I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn around. A girl is looking at me with an alcoholic drink in hand. She gives me the cup and I frown.
"I didn't order a drink." I say, shaking my head.
She signals towards the bar with her head.
"The guy with tattoos sent it."
I look over my shoulder and I see him. He's sitting on a high rise chair, looking in our direction. Once our eyes meet, my heart beats fast. I walk towards him confidently and I sit on a chair next to him.
"I didn't think you would come." He lets out, not looking at me.
"That makes two of us."
He turns his head and leans his body against the table. I stare at him, conscious of the closeness that has been created in between us.
"I'm glad you came." He says in a low voice.
Even though the music is in considerable volume, it doesn't take much for me to hear him. His voice is deep and that makes goosebumps run through my body, and I move uncomfortably.
"Sorry, but I don't accept drinks from strangers." I say, trying to clear up the tension between us.
He raises an eyebrow.
"Do you think I put something in your drink?"
He said it with some type of sarcasm, and half a smile forms on his lips. He looks at me firmly, his eyes analyzing me.
"Maybe you did and you'll do god knows what to me while I'm drugged." I say trying to hold back a smile.
He moves his face closer to mine.
"I don't need you to be drugged so I could do something to you."
My throat is suddenly dry, and the heat comes to my body very abruptly. I bite my lip, because I'm dying to kiss him. But I don't. I wait to see what his next move is.
"What do you want to do to me?" I ask with a lack of voice.
He closes the space between us and kisses the corner my lips. He sighs next to my mouth, and his minty breath invades my nose.
"I really want to be on top of you." He whispers against my lip.
It takes a lot of my strength for me to not melt right then and there. I feel how the heat spreads and invades me.
"Jungkook, I..." I mumble and he gives me another soft kiss on the delicate skin of my lips.
"You have no idea what you do to me." He moves away slowly and looks at me. "And you haven't even touched me."
I swallow hard. No one has ever told me something like this, never. His words take me by surprise, and I put my hand on his arm. His muscle is much bigger than my hand, and with my fingers I trace a line from his tattoos.
"Do you want to do it?" He asks.
I look at his gaze. He's trying to stay calm, but internally he's burning up. I smile, I can't help it. If someone had told me that Jungkook would be practically asking me if I wanted to sleep with him, I would've never believed them.
"Do what?" I say, smiling with innocence.
"Touch me." He says, running his hands on the exposed skin of my thigh.
I shiver and I let out a breath I was holding. I don't respond and I just kiss him again, and once we separate, he smiles.
"Let's get out of here."
