I had dreamt about Jungkook...

And yes, I had dreamt about him in ways that I shouldn't. The images of him kissing me shirtless and with his hands roaming all over my body had made me wake up in the middle of the night with agitated respiration and a thin coat of sweat on my body.

I didn't understand how my mind had done that. That dream kept me up for more than two hours; making my head repeat the same situation over and over, trying to convince me that I was giving too much importance to someone who didn't deserve it.

I've never felt this way, much less with Taehyung. Jungkook had moved something in my interior that seemed like it wanted to escape me in any instant, and I wasn't able to stop it.

So, Saturday morning, when my father told me that I didn't have to go to work with him at the bar today, I almost screamed of emotion. I was decided that I was going to spend my day with Taehyung; I was no longer going to avoid it, but to prove a theory that was around my mind.

I wasn't in love with Taehyung.

I liked him, yes, but I don't think it was enough. I needed to end with this lie once and for all, and I needed to do it now.

So after having breakfast, I start to write a message to Taehyung; I was going to tell him that I was going to be home alone all day and that he could come over when he wanted. However, once I was about to press the send button, the doorbell rang.

I walk to the towards the door and I open it, and as soon as I see Hyerin's eyes pinned on me, I wanted to scream again... but not from emotion.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, sleepy.

Hyerin frowns.

"Hello, Hyerin, how are you?" My friend says, walking into my house, and I cross my arms over my chest. "Oh! I'm good, thanks for asking!"

I close the door and sigh.

"I'm not going to that stupid fight."

"I'm not here for that."

I raise an eyebrow.

"Sure, and I have Zac Efron hidden in my closet."

"I'm serious, I didn't come for the fight." She rolls her eyes. "I just wanted to spend the day with my best friend, that's all."

I shake my head. If I have a hard head, she's triple that; I knew she was up to something, and she was going to drag me into it if I wanted to or not.

"Do you think I'll believe you?" I laugh. "If you're really trying to-"

"I'm not trying anything." She interrupts me. "I just want to go out to eat with you, that's all."

I point at her accusatively.

"Aha! Don't even think about kidnapping me."

She did it once, and she won't do it twice.

"I'm not going to...!" She cuts off her sentence. "You know what? Forget it."

Hyerin takes her bag and walks fast towards the door. She wants me to stop her, but I'm not going to do it. I watch her walk out the door, and three seconds later, the doorbell rings.

I open the door and I find her angry on the other side.

"Aren't you going to stop me?" She asks, offended.

"Nope." I respond, shaking my head.

"You're impossible." She says, entering the house again. "Go change, we're going to the new bar they opened three streets from here."

I rub my fingers over my temples.

"You know my father has a bar, right?

"But your father doesn't like me and... I don't feel like spending the whole day with his accusing stare on me."

I roll my eyes.

"That's his normal expression, Hyerin."

Hyerin also rolls her eyes and sighs.

"If you don't move, I'll start to consider the idea of kidnapping you."

I raise my arms as a signal of defeat.

"Fine, you win."

I turn around and walk upstairs. I can't believe she convinced me again... like always. Hyerin doesn't even force me to say yes, and I'm just not willing to deny her.

Rapidly, I brush my hair and look in my closet for something clean and decent. In the end, I get a pair of jeans, a sweater and some random shoes.

"Are you ready?" Hyerin asks once I walk down the stairs.

"Yes, but..." I cross my arms over my chest. "You're paying."

She laughs and pushes me out of the door. I laugh with her and we walk out of the house, closing the door behind us.
