Yesterday, after leaving the party, I went to Hyerin's house at five in the morning. However, at ten am, my father asked me to help out at the bar.

Of course, I didn't tell Hyerin what happened yesterday at the party, I just woke up, got dressed and left. The bar was full, and even though that's good for the business, my eyes weren't thinking the same thing. I was very tired and I felt how my eyes were constantly closing.

In a certain form, I regreted going out yesterday. However, a small part of me is happy when I remember everything that happened. My heart beats fast and my stomach hurts when the images from yesterday cross my mind.

"Areum!" My father screams from the kitchen. "Table five still doesn't have their eggs!"

I sigh and place my hair behind my ear.

"I'm on it!"

I take the tray with the food and take it to the designated table. I've seen that a lot of people have been coming in, and I believe that it's because the diner from the other street closed down, so the customers have come here instead.

"Areum!"

I look into the small window and I look at him badly.

"What?" I shriek, upset.

He laughs.

"Do you want to switch for a bit?"

I roll my eyes.

"I'm fine, thanks."

I lean on the cash register and scoff. For a second everyone seems to have their food and I take a small break. My phone vibrates in my pocket and I check it. I have a missed call from Taehyung. I feel how my heart clenches and I put my phone away.

I have plans with Hyerin today, and supposedly I have to go with her to the club today for a fight that's going to be organized tonight. She's going to be administrating part of the money, and she'll probably have to be there until it ends. Even then, I think it'll be a good idea to see Jungkook for a bit.

Early tomorrow morning, I'm going to call Taehyung so that we can meet and talk. I'm going to tell him that I don't think it's going to work out anymore, and that our relationship has to end.

I put the blue dress that I bought last time in a bag and I dress normally to leave the house. My father asks me to return home early tomorrow, and to have a good time with Hyerin at the movie theater.

Yes, I lied to him. And no, I don't feel proud about that. I feel like if my life has ultimately turned into a lie. And not only with everyone around me, but to myself. Because even though I had a good time with Jungkook and he's the only one that makes me feel and act a certain way... that doesn't mean that we'll be something else.

I want to say, I'll break up with Taehyung, and then what? Will I tell my father that I'm dating an underground boxer?

"Get in the car!" Hyerin yells as she sticks her head out of the window.

"Have fun!" My father says from the porch.

I get in the car and she takes off.

"Thank God, I thought he was going to get closer."

Hyerin laughs. She has a dress on and if my father would've gotten closer, our plan could've backfired. She looks amazing like usual, while I look tired because of standing up for hours and walking to serve tables.

While she drives, I change clothes. She tells me that she has talked to Namjoon, the owner of the club, and that he has told her that they've started to fight as of a few minutes ago. It's almost eleven at night, and by her tone I know she doesn't want to say anything else.

"Is Jimin fighting?" I ask with curiosity.

"No, but Jungkook is." She confesses with a smile. "If we get there on time, you'll see your man fight."

I roll my eyes.

"He's not my man."

"Of course he is!" She says emotionally. "You seduced him, I didn't."

"Sometimes I regret telling you these things." I respond, shaking my head.

Once we get there, we're able to get in without any problems like usual. Once we walk in, I immediately identify Jungkook in the ring. He's hitting another guy that's in there, even though Jungkook has already technically won. Money circulates in between all the people, and I see Yoongi taking the bets and taking names on a sheet of paper frantically.

"Are they almost done?" Hyerin asks Namjoon who's leaning on the bar.

"Yeah, poor kid..." He sighs. "Jungkook hit him hard."

Suddenly the cheers increase and I watch how the man with the whistle in his mouth lifts Jungkook's hand, and he looks at the crowd victoriously. He doesn't smile, and he doesn't see me either, but either way I still feel hundred of butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

The lights of the place turn off and people stop screaming, but there's a noise coming out from the microphone. Once they turn on again, there's no one in the ring.

"Go see him!" Hyerin yells behind me.

"What? No!" I say smiling. "I'll wait until he comes out of the dressing room, then I'll talk to him."

She rolls her eyes.

"And what if you go congratulate him on his victory?"

She gets closer to me and fixes the straps of my dress. I laugh, somewhat embarrassed.

"Okay, I'll go congratulate him." I say biting my lip.

Hyerin shrieks with excitement and I shake my head, turning around to walk towards the stairs. The guard lets me pass when I tell him my name, and he even smiles. I don't know how he knows my name, but that doesn't matter. I know that there's some type of room specified for the boxers.

I read the names: Jimin, Taeyoon, Jaehyun... Jungkook. I take a deep breath and try to calm down my nerves.

I'm surprised when I see that door is already open, and I push it slowly, enough for me to be able to go in. But the moment that I open it, I know that I shouldn't have come.
