A/N: This chapter contains spoilers from From My Enemy To My Love.  You will see a different side to Grandma Kinsington in this chapter.  I hope it doesn't change how people loved her when they read From My Enemy to My Love.  She wasn't a perfect person and this chapter highlights the worst of her flaws.

"Thanks for teaching us how to ride," Eva said.

"And for letting us store our bikes here until we learn," Zack added.

"No problem," I said. The siblings pushed their bikes back into the garage part of my shop.

"Mom is really excited for us to all go riding together," Eva said.

"I'm glad it all worked out," I said, "and we were able to find affordable bikes for all of you."

"Mom's been having a hard time since the divorce," Eva said. A small frown came to her lips.

"That'll happen when your husband cheats on you and divorces you for a woman half your age," Zack said coldly.

"I know he did wrong," Eva said, "but he's still our dad and I think he really loves Sarah."

Zack rolled his eyes. "Sarah is younger than me and Jake," he said. "There is no way I'm accepting a younger woman as my stepmom. Especially because dad only is interested in her because he's going through a midlife crisis and refusing to believe he is old."

They set their bikes at the back of my garage. I tried not to take the 'old' part of their conversation personally. I was the same age as Frank afterall.

"Okay," Eva said, "but you're going to have to accept her in some way because she's pregnant with our little sibling."

Zack's eyes darted to me. I couldn't pretend I hadn't heard. I was standing right there.

"That's supposed to be a secret," Zach said.

"Frank already told me," I said. Which was true. He had probably already told the entire town with how excited he was about it. He had tried to get Sarah to quit teaching yoga at the town's little gym, but she refused. She told him she could do yoga all through the pregnancy. She assured him when she got further along in the pregnancy she would modify the yoga moves appropriately. I wished he didn't feel so free to tell me everything even if we were friends.

"Dad's not going to keep that a secret," Eva said.

"Well, mom shouldn't find out until she absolutely has to."

"I doubt with the way this town gossips that she hasn't heard about it already," I said. "And I think Bev is stronger than you're giving her credit for."

Zack scowled at me. I probably shouldn't have said anything. I didn't want to be part of their family drama anyway. I started walking to the overhead door hoping they would follow me and leave.

"When the baby comes," Eva said, "I hope you are at least nice to him or her. They will be our sibling after all and it isn't their fault that dad divorced mom for a younger woman." She started to follow me out and I breathed a sigh of relief that I hoped wasn't audible to them.

Zach was silent as he followed us. "I don't know that I can handle looking at the baby," he finally said, "but I hope I can get over it by then."

I watched them as they got in Zach's car and drove away. I went back inside the garage, closed the overhead door and then went into the store part to make sure everything was closed down and locked up. I went home, but instead of going straight inside, I went into the garage and got my motorcycle and helmet. I drove to Henson's Diner.
