First Hunt

Ello there! Hah though I would change things. Happy almost New Year!,!! Shout out to @Sourwolf she's a really amazing writer and she's supported me a lot! Um, I don't really have much else to say so please enjoy if u want to!

##Aria's P.O.V.##
Trevor, Sam and I have 3 days until our flight and I still hadn't heard from Malia. Currently, I'm mentally freaking out, cause if she needs me and I'm on a FRICKIN PLANE I can't exactly help her unless I jump, and trust me, that's not happening. And the fact that Sam and Trevor are both out hunting doesn't exactly help my mood either.

I sit on my bed with my head in my hands, trying not to start crying. I know that sounds wimpy, but I'm a bit stressed. I take my hands off my head and look at them. My nails are bit down to the stumps and pretty disgusting if you ask me. I've never had a habit of biting my nails before, but I guess I do now.

I hear a big thump at the door and nearly jump out of my skin. I jump up and grab the baseball bat leaning against my door frame. I quietly walk down the stairs, raising the bat above my head to protect myself. But suddenly, I hear Trevor yell, "Aria, help!"

My blood goes cold, and I run to where Trev's voice came from: the back door. I throw open the door to see Trevor standing there, covered in blood, supporting a half-conscious Sam. I immedietly pull my mate's other arm across my shoulders and help Trev pull Sam into the house and on the couch.

"What happened?" I demand Trev as he sits, exausted, on a kitchen chair. "Giant...deer," Trev says between breaths, "Mean deer. It kicked Sam pretty bad, bucked me into a tree. Sam's hurt, you gotta splint his wrist before it heals wrong." "What?" I look over at Sam to see his wrist bent in an ugly direction.

I got up and ran into the bathroom, throwing open the first-aid kit. I pulled out the roll of medical tape and a couple popsicle sticks (A/N u will c why) and ran back to the guys. I knelt down next to Sam and snapped his wrist back into place (trust me, it was pretty gross). I lined until the sticks on either sides of his wrist and taped them tightly with the medical tape, forming a support.

I look back at Trevor. "Are you hurt?" He shakes his head. "No, Sam got in the way of the deer. He's got to stay awake you know." Oops.

"Sam, babe," I say, lifting up his head, "you awake?" I see his eyes flutter open. "Aria?" "Hey!" I say softly, "You've gotta sit up, ok? You need to stay awake." I put my arm under his back and push him up, letting him lean on me. I quickly get up and sit behind him, wrapping my arms around him. He lean his head back against my neck and says, "I love you." I smile, leaning my cheek against his forehead, "I love you too."

"Awww!" Trevor suddenly says, breaking our moment, "You guys are sooooooooo cute! I want a mate!" He pouts out his lip as I laugh. "You'll find yours eventually Trev," I say, "Now go clean up, I'll watch him for now." Trev nods and stands, walking to the bathroom.

"You were so brave," my mate says to me, lifting my hand to his lips. "Brave?" I laugh, "Look at my hands, they're shaking!" Sure enough, my hands were shaking like reeds. Sam takes them both in his good hand and holds them to his chest. "Well you did a good job. I'd have a crooked wrist if it weren't for you." "Well maybe you shouldn't piss off gigantic deer!"He laughed softly. "I was hungry." "Well now your hurt." I pull one hand out of his grip and use it to push his head back down against my neck. "You need to rest." I feel him smile. "Then your gonna have to sleep here with me." "Fine." I straightened out my legs so they were on either sides of Sam and leaned my head against his, closing my eyes.

I stay there with him until I feel his body relax and hear his breath slow. Once I make sure he's asleep I slowly wiggle my way out from under him, careful not to wake him up. I watch him sleep for a second more and then disappear upstairs. I go and start tlgather my things for a shower when my phone rings. "Hello?" "Aria, it's me, Malia."

##Jc's P.O.V.##

Leya was doing very well so far. She's learned how to let Kaia take over but not loose control, and she can catch a squirrel in about 2.5 seconds. It's pretty amazing actually, knowing how my first hunt went...

     "Maccon, when can we go catch some real game?" Kaia asked my wolf, "I think I'm ready!" "Now," Maccon replied back, "Let's go!"

       Do you really think Leya and Kaia can handle big game already? I asked Maccon as he started walking. I mean, it's only their first hunt.

Of course, you've seen how well they're doing. Come on Jc, you've got to test out your new Omega powers anyway.

Alright. But if they get hurt I'm blaming you.

Maccon lifted his head and took in a deep breath, catching the scent of a fairly large male deer not far away. Kaia, follow me. He said, beginning to walk again. Kaia followed, and within minutes they spotted the deer. This is it, Maccon said, this is your chance. Start stalking.

Kaia nodded and crouched low to the ground. She started crawling towards the big deer, completely silent. Luckily, the deer hadn't noticed or smelled her yet, so she got about 3 feet away from it. Then, all of a sudden she pounced into the air, landing directly on top of the deer's back. She immedietly bit down on its neck, attempting to crush it's windpipe, but her grip slipped. That's where we come in.

Let's go! I yelled to Maccon, and he shot off like a rocket to where Kaia was grappling with the deer. He jumped up and grabbed the deer's neck, his teeth biting down on the windpipe. Together, then, he and Kaia pulled the deer to the ground, ending its life.

Maccon let go of the deer and looked at Kaia. You did great! He said, Now eat. She nodded and dug in, ripping apart it's tough hide to reach the tender meat beneath. I soon joined in, and we ate until we could hold no more.

Maccon, Bodolf's voice echoed in my mind, Get yourself and Kaia back to the house, the sun's about to come up.

Yes sir, Maccon replied. Then to Kaia he said, Kaia, come on, Bodolf calls us back.

Ok, let's go! She replies, and they both set off in a run towards the house.
