Please hold me tight.
I'm falling for you, crumbling at the seams
And I just need you to
Take your strong arms,
The same ones that started this mess in the first place.
It was your grasp that took me and stole me from reality
And they left me here, with only a distant memory
And after a while it becomes just a dream.
But I'm here now, so I guess the past doesn't really matter.
And I'm speaking up this time
And I've decided to end the trembling I shared in secret alone, since the day you walked around the corner, your eyes meeting mine for the first time.
And I know this isn't just me
Because, love like this -
It just isn't a one-way street.
No. I refuse to accept that it ever was.
Just hold me tight, so that we both can say it out loud.
I love you
I love you
Those words, that feeling, isn't a ghost.
Not anymore.
This feeling can be alive.
Just put my head on your chest, and our love felt in our heartbeats will tell us where we go from here.
