Love & Ride

Chapter 7

I open the front door and start walking to Jordan's expensive sports car. He gets out of it and looks at me with an impressed look.

- "Wow, Skyla, you look amazing!" He says, surprised.

- "Thank you." I look at him, then at his outfit and damn, he looks good. "You look great too."

- "Thanks. Get in." he runs to the other side of the car and opens the door for me.

I sit on the passenger seat and he closes the door. His car smells good and it's very clean for a boy. He gets in and starts driving.

Jordan parks in front of a big house and turns the contact off.

- "We're here" He tells me.

We get out of the car. Jordan takes my hand and we walk to the front door. He rings the bell and Jacob welcomes us.

- "Alcohol in the kitchen and outback, do whatever you want just not in my bedroom or my parent's. Oh, and we announce the hottest devil's title at midnight. Have fun!"

We get in and head to the living room.

- "Do you want a drink?" Jordan asks me.

- "Yes please." I need to relax.

- "I'll get us beers. Hey Marcus! Il'' take a palm bay, and where's the keg?."

- "Here's your palm bay. Keg's outside man, sorry."

- "Go I'll wait here." I tell him.

- "I'll be right back." He says as he heads to the yard.

Marcus hands me my drink and I taste it. I like it, Jordan knows his stuff. I look around at all the girls with their costumes. This party is really red. Some of the girls are almost naked!

I sit on an empty sofa and text Cooper. I wonder when she'll be here. People start screaming so I look up and see Tyler getting in the room. Our eyes meet for a couple of seconds then we both look away.

I get up and go look for Jordan in the yard. Jacob's house is really big. I walk by some people swimming in the pool and spot Jordan filling a red cup with beer.

I head towards him and when he sees me, he waves at me then introduces me to the team.

- "Everybody, that's Skyla, my date for tonight."

- "Yeah we know her. She's noticeable as a cheerleader." A guy says while looking at my outfit.

- "Nice game tonight." I say as I finish my drink.

- "We killed those bitches! And you girls were very supportive. Do you want another drink?" Another boy says.

I smile at them and accept. He hands me a red cup similar to theirs, then Jordan takes my hand and we go back to the party. We go to the kitchen where I see Cooper and Mark.

- "There's Cooper! Come meet her." I take his hand and lead him to her.

- "Hey Coop!" I yell.

- "Sky! Hey Jordan."

- "Hi, What's up Mark?" Jordan says.

- "Hey man. Nice to meet you Skyla."

- "Oh, I have to show you something! Sorry guys." Cooper says then pushes Mark towards the yard.

We watch them walk away and laugh then Jordan says:

- "So, Skyla, tell me something about you."

- "Something like what?" I ask.

- "I don't know, Anything."

- "Um, I don't know what to say." I say then laugh. "How about you start?"
