- "And you're sure it's really over this time?" Isobel asks.

- "Yes. I'm never getting myself into this kind of shit anymore."

- "It's the best thing to do. I still can't believe what happened between you two."

- "Yeah tell me about it. I'm sorry for not telling you earlier, and thanks Cooper for not saying anything."

- "It's okay." Sarah smiles.

- "I propose we party!" Cooper says.

- "No way! I mean it. I'm tired of parties."

- "You're lame!"

- "We could have a sleepover?" Isobel proposes.

- "Yes totally! Mom comes back tomorrow. How about Friday?"

- "Perfect! At Skyla's it is."

After leaving Tyler in his car, I went directly to the cafeteria and told the girls the whole story. My mind is set, everything that happened is now behind me. I'm tired of his bullshit. The bell rings and we head to class.

**********

The week passed by pretty quickly. mom came back bearing a lot of gifts, Monica went back to NYU, and I didn't see much of Tyler lately. Yes, we crossed paths in the hallways but we totally ignored each other. I feel so weird about that, it's like a part of me was deceived, but I'm also glad that he's listening to what I told him. He's a bad guy and I need to move past what happened.

Right now, I'm with the girls singing Night Changes by One Direction like crazy in my room. Blasting the band's songs and going crazy over them is a really important ritual in our sleepovers.

- "Going out tonight

Changes into something red

Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress

Reminds her of the missing piece of innocence she lost"

- "You ruined Zayn's part Izzy!" Cooper screams.

- "Well all of us can't have an angelic voice!"

- "it's your house Skyla, ask her to shut up!"

- "She didn't ruin Harry's part, so I don't really care." I answer.

- "Screw all of you!"

We laugh then turn off the music.

- "I'm hungry." Isobel sighs.

- "Me too!" Sarah stands up and stretches her arms.

- "Let's order pizza." I say and we go downstairs.

- "Where's your mom?" Isobel asks me.

- "In her room, working. She knew that we'd make a lot of noise. What do you girls want?"

- "Maybe we should order burgers." Cooper proposes.

- "I want a burger." Sarah says.

- "Cheeseburgers for everyone?" They nod. "I'll be back."

I take my phone and order four cheeseburger menus. We lay down on the sofas in my living room.

- "Trust me, girls are as complicated as boys." Sarah says.

- "Still no word from Ellen?" I ask.

Ellen is the girl she kissed as that karaoke party. They chatted a bit after that night but she's apparently not answering anymore.

- "Nope, nothing. I should just move on, right?"

- "If you really like her, give her some time." Isobel tells her.
