"Bottom's up!" Sam chugged down the beer in one breath.
David was staring at her. "What are you looking at,hic?" Sam asked oblivious to the fact that they were already drunk.
"Hic" she hiccuped again.
"Hic.. hic.. hic..." she plopped her back against David's chest and made a weird noise, somewhere between a giggle and hiccup.
A/N:
What is it called? Giccup? Higgle? 🤷David pinched her nose. She grabbed his wrist trying to yank, but he didn't budge. "Eeehhh!! Why can't I, hic, remove your hand? Let go!" Instead, he wrapped his arm around her waist securing her against him.
"You.. you did something bad! Didn't you?" Sam tilted her head resting it on his shoulder while looking at his round chubby face. She didn't register that her hiccups had miraculously stopped.
David lowered his face to look at his little Bambi. Her face had this adorable pinkish hue and had a foolish look on her face. David knew this look way too well. He could tell she was up to no good. She was definitely plotting something against him. He was proven right, when she pulled him by his neck and bit his left cheek.
"Aaaaa! You!" His face scrunched up in pain.
Sam giggled once again. "So soft" she murmured.
Inside Pete's bedroom
Angelina was still clinging onto him, refusing to let go. He had no other choice, but to drag her alongside him to bed.
"You look so good. Mommy is happy.. hehehe."
He grabbed her by the waist pulling her to his chest. So squishy, so fragile. He was afraid any extra force would break her. "Do you want to sleep?" he asked gently.
She nodded, still clinging on to him and staring at him with her brilliant blue eyes.
"Then, you have to get on the bed."
"Okay" Angelina climbed onto it and laid down on her back.
Pete pulled the blanket over, covering her. He rubbed her head. "Good night, angel."
She was looking at him with her wide eyes. Why is he not coming to sleep? Is he leaving? When he turned to leave, he felt her small hands grab his palm and heard her voice say, almost pleading, "Stay."
Pete was at a loss. She was clearly ignorant of the effect she was having on him. He was inching bit by bit towards loosing his self control. He was afraid he would do something to her if he stayed here any longer. Goddamn it!
Angelina's sweet voice sounded again, "Stay.... I know a lot of bedtime stories. Stay with me. I will put you to sleep." She pointed towards the other side of the bed.
Pete chortled. He couldn't resist her adorable looks and pleading eyes anymore. He sat there, by her side, leaning on the headboard.
"Won't you lay down?" Angelina asked turning towards him.
"...."
She tugged at his shirt, "Sleep."
Pete let out a sigh shaking his head. He obliged and laid down beside her. Her face instantly dazzled with smile. She covered him up with her blanket. Pete couldn't resist any more. He pulled her towards him until she was laying with her head on his chest. His arms encircled her. He smiled when she started narrating a bedtime story for real.
"Once upon a time, there was a cute little baby unicorn named Sparkle. It's horn was like a rainbow. It also had two beautiful white wings. But... no one liked him. They said he was a monster.. A flying mons... ter..." Pete heard her breathes softened out. She drifted towards dreamland.
Pete felt a sense of relief wash over him. "Silly.." he continued to rub her head until he joined her in the dreamland too.
In the living room...
Sam was sitting on David's lap with her legs on either side of his waist, straddling him. She was practically assaulting him, sometimes by pulling his cheeks, sometimes poking them or even biting them. He sat there like a fool. Drunk.. Bambi's drunk.. Her sweet smell was penetrating through his senses. Her silky golden hairs were tickling him. Her soft figure pressed against his body made him think of the unthinkable. But.. She is off limits. She is off limits. She is off limits.
Nothing seemed to work. His feelings for her were getting more difficult to repress day by day. No matter how rarely he met her, but his feelings still were increasing exponentially."Goodnight," she pecked on his lips, once.. twice.. thrice.. And then she fell asleep.. just like that.. nuzzling her face in the crook of his neck sending fireworks down his abdomen. "You smell good" she murmured against his sensitive spot. David could feel a lump forming in his pants.
"Sam.. wake up.." but little did he know no one on this planet earth had the ability to wake her up once she closed her eyes.
She kissed me.. on my lips... Thrice.. Was it just a drunk act? Did she mistake me for someone else? Or was that meant for me?
