It was lunch time. Angelina didn't bring food to her office today because she overslept. After contemplating for a bit, she decided to treat herself with some crispy chicken and French fries.

Currently, Angelina was pacing to and fro in her office while occasionally looking out of the window. Why is my order not delivered yet?

It was just 10 minutes but to her it seemed like 10 hours. She could endure everything except hunger.

Finally after what seemed like one eternity, her super healthy lunch arrived! She impatiently opened up the package and a delicious smell wafted to her nose. Her stomach growled in response.

"I have waited for you for such a long time." Angelina was speaking to her chicken. "I will give you all the respect you deserve." She just opened her mouth wide to bite it when someone opened her office door. Sure enough, it was none other than Aaron. What a perfect timing!

"Don't you know how to knock?" Angelina's head was on fire upon seeing his face on such a crucial and delicate moment.

"Don't forget, we are still at office."

"Huh! Whatever. It's lunchtime, so if you let me have my food, it would be gracious on your behalf" she plastered a fake smile on her face.

"Well, I am here to inform that there is an emergency meeting we both need to attend after office hours today. Mr. Steven also said attendance is mandatory."

"Ah, ok. I got it."

Aaron was leaving the room when he turned back and added, "The meeting might be a long one. Ask your boyfriend to pick you up."

Her stomach gave another loud growl. The face which he made while mentioning "boyfriend" had pissed her off completely. She put a few fries in her mouth. She knew what he meant. He must have known she was bluffing that day about the whole boyfriend thing. It was just another way to let her know what he thought about his two-timing. He always thought it was her fault and he was a decent boyfriend. He always believed she doesn't deserve to be in love because of all the so called issues.

Angelina couldn't believe what a sucker her ex was. He worsened her PTSD, and then had the courage to cheat on her. To add to this, he was standing here, completely unaware of what a douche-bag he was. And he was even trying to justify his two-timing. And now, he had the balls to bully her just because she was still single while he had a diva by his side! What a moron!

Well, she would definitely prove him wrong. No matter what happens, she will not loose today.

"Hire a good looking, trust worthy man for me. He has to play the role of a loving and caring boyfriend infront of Aaron today." she texted Sam.

"Yes boss" Sam replied within minutes.

Good looking and trustworthy... Hmmm.. it's best to send him to act as Jelly's boyfriend.. right..

Angelina had no idea what she was doing in the meeting room. Her brain was overloaded with information. She wanted to go home so badly.

It was indeed an emergency meeting. The company had lost in multiple tender bidding process by a very small margin in a very short time. It was suffering from a major setback. Hence, the meeting with its employees as well as board members.

The meeting ended around 9 o'clock. Angelina went to the washroom and splashed cold water over her face and neck. She took out her phone to check the time. There was a next from Sam, "All set. Your boyfriend will be present at the location."

Angelina felt relieved as well as anxious. Relieved as she would prove to that S.O.B that she could also find love, anxious because she didn't know what kind of guy Sam has hired for her.

"It's raining outside." Angelina heard Aaron say.

"I can see. I have eyes too, you know.." she added after a pause.

Aaron chuckled, "Why can't you just confess that you still have feelings for me?"

"Feelings? For you? Huh! Continue with your day dreaming."

Angelina came out the the main entrance and was shocked to see the guy whom Sam hired.

He was tall, with dark brown hairs styled in a faded cut. He had umbrella held in one of his veiny hands. He was oozing out masculinity. Those green eyes, sharp jawline and muscular built could make any straight lady swoon.

Angelina was really surprised. She couldn't believe that Sam actually sent her brother to pick her up. Not that Angelina was complaining. Initially, she did want Pete to pick her up, but she couldn't manage to spill it out to Sam.

As soon as she came out, Pete walked over to her. Her gaze was locked on his face. It was good to have Pete as her boyfriend even if it was just a false pretence - she thought.

"You must be tired" Pete said gently while tucking her hairs behind her ear. Angelina was afraid if she spoke Pete would know she was tongue-tied. She was sure he wouldn't leave any chance of teasing her.

"Come, let's go home!"
