Her heart was trying to escape through her mouth. Her face felt like it was on fire. If it was daytime or even a better lighted area, anyone could see Angelina's apple red cheeks.

The peaceful night, gentle sea breeze, moonlight reflecting from water, the sound of sea waves and their closeness - had successfully woven a dreamy realm around two of them. A realm of beautiful emotions, a realm of peaceful silence, a realm of divine connection.

A chortle escaped Pete's vocals. Angelina has found a way to fight back and get back in advantageous position. She smiled an evil smile and poked at Pete's sensitive area near his waist again. He jolted away from her attacks. But the next time attack came from the other side. He giggled while trying to run away from her evil grasp.

The serene night was filled with happy laughters of a young duo. They were chasing each other, aiming to launch ' tickle attack'. At last, Angelina was out of breath. She stopped running and was taking quick breaths. Pete put both his hands on his belly while trying to stop his laughter.

You know what is contagious? Yes, diseases. But do you know what else is contagious? Laughter!

Pete's unrestrained laughter might be the most beautiful sound her ears have ever picked up. How she wished the moment to never end!

Pete's laughter has magically dispelled all the negative emotions she was going through tonight. Soon, she found herself laughing together with him.

The first rays of sun hit her eyes. A cool breeze was blowing causing some of her hairs tickle her face. She removed them impatiently, moving closer to the source of warmth.

The first thing that Pete saw in the morning was Angelina snuggling up against him like a kitty cat. Apparently they fell asleep last night on the beach.

Pete was awake for a long time but he was afraid to move. He was afraid his movement would wake her up. Laying in the same position, he slowly shifted back to slumber.

Angelina rubbed her eyes open. She was scared when she saw Pete's zoomed face. "Why am I sleeping with him? No no , why is he sleeping with me?" Angelina thought furrowing her brows.

"Good morning" Pete said in his sleepy voice. A chill ran down through her spine. If that was not sexy, Angelina did not know what a sexy voice was. Suddenly, waking up next to him didn't seem to be so bad. A faint blush crept to her cheeks. Pete asked "why are you blushing?"

Angelina jolted up and sat straight. "Who is blushing?" she blatantly denied the obvious fact.

"Childish" Pete chortled.

"I can hear you! You are childish!"

When they returned back to the Ray family house, Mrs. Ray had already finished preparing breakfast.

"Where did you two go so early in the mornin' ? " Sam asked while stretching her body.

"To the beach," before Angelina could open her mouth, Pete already answered.

"Why did you not take me with you?" Sam was persistent with her query.

"Because we couldn't wake you up!" this time Angelina spoke.

"Breakfast is served!" Mrs. Ray informed.

"Aunty, this is the best scrambled egg I ever had" Sam was in seventh heaven after one bite of breakfast.

No woman would get tired of complements. Mrs. Ray wasn't am exception to this rule. "Stop flattering me" she said aloud, but internally she was very happy at the satisfied look on Sam's face.

"So, what do you do for living?" The question was aimed at Pete.

"I have recently opened a restaurant. I hope to establish my own restaurant chain in future."

"Wow! That's amazing!"

Mrs. Ray suddenly sighed and said "You know, when I saw you first I thought you were Angelina's boyfriend."

Pete and Angelina exchanged awkward glances. Bits and pieces of last night floated infront of them.

"It's a pity that you already have someone you like. Only if you were still single, I would do anything to set my daughter up with you." Mrs. Ray shook her head dejectedly.

Pete noticed Angelina had stopped eating. Her eyes lowered and she was biting her lower lips.

" Errrr.. aunty.. you got it wrong. I am still single."

Angelina abruptly lifted her head and looked towards him. She felt as if a huge weight has just been lifted away from her.

It was time to say goodbye. Sam was hugging Mrs. Ray. She said, "come and live with me".

"I wish I could! But I promise, I would definitely visit you next time I go to see her!"

Mrs. Ray walked towards Pete and took his hands. "Take care of both my daughters" she said.

"You can rely on me, aunty. You have my words." Pete said in the most sincere tone he could manage.

Angelina hugged her mom.

"Maa, don't always think for others. You should take care of yourself too. Look how much weight you have lost in past few weeks!"

Sam couldn't figure out why Pete had asked her to drive initially. But after a few minutes, she got her answer. The rear view mirror was reflecting Pete's sleeping figure. She chuckled at how foolish he looked while sleeping and turned her face towards the passanger seat, when she realised she was the only person awake in this car.

It was almost 12 pm when they dropped Angelina to her apartment.

She sprawled over her bed as soon as she entered her apartment. She was trying to figure out why was she feeling -whatever she was feeling- when her mom was talking with Pete about his future plans and relationship status. It wasn't like she had fallen for Pete, or had she?

Realisation stuck her hard. She couldn't believe the conclusion she had reached. A voice kept repeating something in her head, "how did you manage to get boyfriend with all your issues?"
