"Yes."

"So.. you will get completely cured?" He felt like a fool but his mouth just kept repeating this question.

Pete covered his face with his hands. "Aaaaahhh! I am feeling so relieved!!!"

Angelina scooted near him and poked his tummy, "What do you mean by relieved? Didn't you tell me you were ok even if my illness was incurable?"

Pete tee-heed. "Stop tickling me! Hihihihi!" he was sleeping at one end of the sleeping bag, so there was no escape for him tonight.

"Stop! Sto-ppp!" Pete voiced out after undergoing a long tickle torture. "I can't laugh more!" he was out of breath.

They laid there for a long time staring at each other. Pete extended his hand and tugged her hairs behind the ear.

"I would still be with you if your illness was incurable. But I am relieved to know you will be a mentally fit person very soon. Angelina, I am relieved you can finally get rid of your sufferings and pain. You would finally feel relieved, you can finally sleep peacefully without those horrible nightmares." His thumb grazed her cheek affectionately.

Angelina melted away like butter under his touch. She was just trying to tease him, but somehow he turned the air into something more beautiful. He was perfect, he was hers.

"Ummm... Shall we upgrade our relationship?" Pete asked with a grin.

Angelina's heart beat fastened. Is he doing what I think he is doing?

"Be my girlfriend." Pete said with a smile reaching his ears.

She nodded, shifting closer.

Angelina woke upto Pete spooning her. She didn't feel anything "negative" by this intimacy. Her doctor was right. Her body only showed such reactions to intimacy without her consent. But my body never showed any PTSD reactions towards Pete right from the very beginning! Does this mean I always wanted to get close to him subconsciously? My goodness, am I being pervert?

She felt him move behind her. She carefully lifted his arm and shifted away.

Angelina came out of the tent. It was still early, only a few people woke up before her. Sam and David were nowhere to be seen. Them lovebird must have slept late. She giggled at the realisation. Little did she know that both of them fell asleep as soon as their tired ass body laid down.

Soon, their trekking guide started announcing with his megaphone, "Wake up everyone. It's a brand new day! We have to start early today in order to reach the camping site back before lunch time. " He kept announcing it until everyone crawled out of their tents.

Their breakfast was quite simple today. Two veg sandwiches, one banana, one hard boiled egg and a packet of orange juice each.

They soon set out for trekking towards the waterfall- the last destination before going up the mountain. Their guide was describing them every new plant species he saw on the way. Sam and David were constantly bickering at one another, while Pete was being more of a responsible guardian to the three of them. Their ultimate destination was prehistoric cave carving site. This place was more of a recent discovery. Mainly archeologists and history enthusiasts liked visiting here.

The waterfall was simply breathtaking. "Ah" Angelina quickly withdrew her hand from water. The water was freezing cold. So they could only take a few pictures before proceeding for further journey.

There wasn't much delay on the route, so the group made it back safely before lunchtime.

They had a decent lunch menu today. Roasted fresh water fish and bread, fruits and green salad. The group begun eating when the megaphone sounded again, " Miss. Angelina Ray, please contact me. It's urgent."

Her heart beat dropped. "Maa!" she exclaimed before dashing towards their trek leader's tent.

"Wait for us." Pete and group followed her as fast as they could.

"I am Angelina." she said out of breath.

"We just recieve an emergency phone call. Your mother is admitted to hospital."

Angelina felt her knees weaken from the news. "Maa!" she said again. Pete caught her before she hit the ground, "she will be alright." he said to her.

"Leader, We would like to go back to base camp." Sam said.

They packed their belongings as quickly as they could. They reached the basecamp by evening since they took the emergency shortcut.

"Wait here, I am bringing my car." Pete handed her over to Sam.

"Jelly, aunty will be alright. Don't freak out." Sam tried to call her down. But Angelina continued shivering.

Once Pete brought the car over, they dumped their luggage in the car and set out for the hospital.

"Be brave. We will reach over soon."

Angelina needed time to sort out her emotions. She didn't want to act fragile once she reached the hospital. Because her mom had only her to rely upon.

She told herself, "Maa is the strongest lady I have ever seen. She faced all crisis with a smile. She will overcome this too. Just wait maa, I will be soon by your side."
