Sam heard her calling bell ringing. A relief washed over her taut muscles. She knew her Jelly was at the door. Her brother dear was not yet home. All this time she was feeling lonely and anxious.
She opened the door at an impossible speed, "I knew you would come. What's that? Oooooo, let me guess, a gift for me?"
"Dream on."
Angelina stretched herself on the couch. "I am dead tired. That jerk keeps creating unnecessary troubles for me. I am pretty sure he just wants to bully me using his seniority." Yawn..
Sam threw a bath towel aiming at her friend's head. "Wooohoooo, I scored a basket!."
"Do I look like a basket to you?"
"Go take a shower. You stinky mess!"
Angelina sniffed herself. "I don't stink, you idiot!!"
"You do!" Sam stuck her tongue out making a silly face.
"Don't let me catch you!" Angelina chased after her.
"Hehe, catch me if you can baebyyy."
"Just you wait!!!"
The first thing that Pete saw after opening the door was Sam running away from Angelina, and the latter chasing her with a towel held in her outstretched hand. It looked like two grown up adults were playing "catch me if you can!"
"Peeeeteeeeee!!! Save me." Sam came running towards him and took shelter behind behind her brother occasionally peeking towards Jelly.
Angelina was getting restless because Pete's presence wasn't helping her at all. She held onto his arms and peeked behind him. "Why are you hiding now?" the question obviously was aimed at her.
Sam didn't reply but continued making faces at her from her safe zone.
Pete found the little restless figure infront of him quite adorable. She was holding onto him while peeking at Sam. Quite innocent, right? But still her slightest touches were sending shivers down his spine and to unexpected places.
"Kids stop playing around!!" Pete yelled finally afraid of sporting an illegal hard-on.
Their teasing chatters halted. Angelina looked up at the source of the yell, only to find Pete staring down at her with his strikingly gorgeous green eyes.
déjà vu...
Ah.. there are hazel streaks in those green. Two faint blushes crawled on her cheeks.
"Will you shower first or should I?" She asked timidly offering him the towel with a lowered.
"Kids first."
"Don't call me a kid. I already know I am short!" She pouted.
Pete smiled looking at this adorable being sulk.
"Why are you laughing?" Angelina asked.
Getting no reply, she lazily entered the bathroom and closed it's door.
So handsome..
She stood there leaning on the door with her back with her all thoughts concentrated on this handsome face. Two little voices were arguing inside her head.
"How could I be so unladylike. Especially, infront of a man?"
"What unladylike? What male? Don't you remember the mess you caused after getting drunk that day? You even wanted to play with his hairs"
"Forget it... It's not like I can undo things.."
"He called you a kid."
"He called Sam the same."
