The heartless ruler of the renown Cypheler Empire. Rumors of his rise to the throne, sending chills down spines as citizens speculate over his sudden ascension.
Ruling over the once small, yet distinguished kingdom—the moment he was bestowed the crown—his reputation became well known as the man who destroyed countless kingdoms to expand his own. The Cypheler Kingdom steadily grew—soon rebirthed into a self-proclaimed empire.
Emperor Cabel, ruler of the Cypheler Empire—the only emperor to achieve a title of untouchable nobility and authority.
Rumored to have been blessed by the god of the sun—the emperor ensured that only glory would shine on his land. Enemies trembled at his indomitable pursuit of raising the empire to become as untouchable as the sun—regardless the length he'd have to go.
The ferocity of his swordsmanship and blessed with one of the rarest set of powers that can harness even the smallest amount of darkness, his unsurpassable strength only commands fear and admiration from all—neighboring territories could only be terror-stricken upon hearing the news; the emperor was on a bloodthirsty hunt for vengeance.
Kingdom Avris, tucked away on the edge of the continent; best known for their abundance of mines containing rare jewels. Their influence built from providing high quality gems throughout the continent, they were always seen as a flourishing kingdom—however the rulers of Avris were greedy dictators.
The citizens who bear no nobility, experience disease, poverty, and scarce support from the monarchs. Providing only enough resources so they'll survive, the king and queen greedily kept the kingdoms riches to themselves—using the citizens to produce more wealth to satisfy their desires.
The king and queen's ploy remained cleverly concealed—the citizens unaware that they caused their misery, and oblivious that the Avris Kingdom was known as one of the most prosperous kingdoms. To hide their scheme, they ensured their territory was heavily guarded to prevent anyone from escaping or entering their land. They did everything to maintain their pride and affluence, their amorality undetected by everyone for decades—except by Emperor Cabel.
"Bring me them." Emperor Cabel's commanding voice rings throughout the tattered room.
Knights—clad in silver armor and pristine cream surcoats—approach before the emperor as they throw the tied-up king and queen to the ground. Their complexions pale as their eyes slowly shift to look up in horror.
Emperor Cabel's height is overwhelmingly tall with a built agile body. His hair—the color of the pitch-black night sky and as silky as the fur of a black panther—swept back with strands messily framing his chiseled face. His vibrant dark wine eyes, sharp and watchful like a predator's as he looks down upon the two with a chilling emotionless expression.
"King Weslium, Queen Leveanne, you are to be executed for treason against the great Cypheler Empire." A knight speaks, reading a document in hand, "For exploiting the empire for gold, entrapping citizens from leaving your land, and your involvement in the attempt of poisoning his imperial majesty, Emperor Cabel."
"N-No! Please spare us! We'll give you all our mines, please let us live!" Queen Leveanne begs as she cries.
In a blink of an eye—Emperor Cabel draws his sleek silver sword, coldly glaring at the queen. The sword's tip pressed against the queen's neck as he draws blood—her pleads causing no reaction from the emperor.
"W-We'll give you, our daughter!" King Weslium shouts, panicked as he watches the blood slowly drip from the queen's throat.
A soft chuckle escapes the emperor's lips, his eyes narrowing as he flashes an amused look back to the fallen king.
"Your son and daughter have disappeared. Are you telling me, you know where they went?" Emperor Cabel adjusts his grip of the sword.
"I-I have no idea where they ran to... B-But we have another daughter, our son's twin! P-Please, take her instead!" The king sweats in fear.
"Your son's twin? The daughter who died at a young age, is still alive?" Emperor Cabel questions, his playful-confident grin falling.
"Yes! She's alive. W-We lied to protect her. If you wish, you may take her or kill her, but please let us live!" Queen Leveanne begs.
Emperor Cabel's brow subtly twitches—unnoticeable to anyone who stares upon him—as thoughts rush through his mind. His eyes widening slightly upon a realization from their words, his jaw clenches as he looks at the two devious rulers.
