So we have Felicity's POV for the first time. I was just wondering whether you guys prefer a range of POVs or limited ones? And who is your favourite POV? Or who would you like hear more from?
I was sat with Luke, watching Tv when there was a knock at the door.
I didn't pay attention to it though. I was just focusing on the room we were staying in. I loved this room. It was bigger than my whole house. The beds were huge and sooo comfy. They had a Tv, which we didn't. The sofas were soft and large.
"Felicity," my dad called, drawing my focus away from the room and to him. "Cal's here," he said and my eyes trailed from him to Cal who was stood in the doorway.
Cal smiled at me and I managed a smile smile in return. It wasn't that Cal didn't seem nice, it was just that he was so big and scary.
He's the fire prince, everybody knows him. He was raised to rule but also raised as a soldier. He can fight. His power is incredible. He's killed people before, tortured people. He's deadly. And he scared me.
I couldn't remember much of the Silver rule; I was only seven when the war ended. But I knew enough of Silvers and Cal's family that I was scared by them and what they could do.
"Are you ready to go?" He asked me. Not really, I wanted to say; I was nervous.
"We're not practicing here?" I asked. I'd just questioned him!"I think it would be best for us to practice somewhere else."
"O-ok," I stuttered, standing up but before I could go anywhere, Luke grabbed me from behind and pulled me back into the sofa, tickling me like a maniac."Stop!" I squealed in between my giggles but he didn't. "Luke!"
I wriggled, as he tickled me, trying to get away.
Eventually he stopped, and I gasped trying to regain my breath.
"Luke!" I swatted him with my arm.
"Watch it, little sis," he warned with a mischievous glint in his eye "you don't want me to start tickling you again, do you?"
"No! Definitely not," I answered, quickly scrambling off the sofa.I could see my dad laughing and Cal also looked amused by my brother's actions.
"Go practice," Luke told me, settling back down into the sofa "I'll be here when you get back and you can tell me all about it."
"Ok," I smiled at him before walking over to the door."Do I need anything?" I asked, looking up at Cal but quickly looked back down.
"Nope."
"But what about my gloves?"
"You won't need them," he assured me though I wasn't so sure.
"Ok," I answered after a moment."See you later," Dad said, kissing my cheek.
"Have fun, sweetie!" Mum called from wherever she was in the room; I couldn't see her.I walked out the door, which Cal held open before he closed it and stepped up next to me. "Where are we going?" I asked, feeling nervous now I was alone with Cal.
"My study," he told me. "We aren't going to do much tonight, I just want to see how much you can do at the moment."I nodded and I could feel Cal's eyes on me as we walked but I didn't look at him. I kept my eyes fixed on the floor in front of me as we made our way to his study.
We reached it without speaking and I was as equally nervous now as when we had left the room I was staying in, if not more so.
He opened the door for me and I stepped inside without a word. He followed and shut the door behind us.
Cal walked over to a leather sofa, which was up against the wall at the side of the room, and sat down. "Come sit," he said to me, patting the space next to him.
