taeyoung blankly stared at the sky while his friends stare at him confusedly.
"what's with him?" serim asked jungmo who was slyly smiling. "there's this new guy in y/n's class and he's jealous because they're childhood friends," he explained with a big grin.
serim raised an eyebrow at him and eyed him, "is that why you're this happy?"
jungmo shooked his head, "of course not! i'm sad that our dear friend is suffering like this," he louder his voice in order for taeyoung to hear.
"i'm not jealous," serim and jungmo was startled when taeyoung looked back at them and glared at them scarily.
"of course you're not! who said you were jealous? let's beat them up!" jungmo panicked. he lightly punched serim on the arm when he heard him chuckle.
serim sent jungmo a death glare, "do you want me to beat you up?". jungmo scratched his head and gave him a peace sign, "sorry hehe,"
serim rolled his eyes, "kim taeyoung, do you like l/n y/n or not?" he asked taeyoung with serious eyes. taeyoung looked down and sighed.
he does like her deep inside. but he was too scared to show it. he was scared that he'll hurt her or her love will die down eventually because of him.
it was selfish of him to think that he can protect y/n that way, but he didn't know it hurted her more.
"i don't like her," he said quietly with his face down.
jungmo dramatically gasped but serim covered his mouth, "that's alright taeyoung, you don't have the control of your heart you know! you don't have to feel sorry,"
jungmo removed his hand on his mouth harshly, "what's with people covering my mouth everytime? jeez," he muttered.
the both of them were confused when taeyoung faced them with a smile.
"i don't like her because i think, i love her,"
