“Oh this is cute!”

“Adorable.”

“Oh my God look at that!”

“Uh-huh.”

“THAT IS THE CUTEST THING I’VE EVER SEEN!”

“Yup, totally.”

“Oh my God this is just… we need this.”

“How could we live without it.”

“Oh my God, Ash are you seeing this?”

“Oh wow, so cute.”

“Oh my Goodness Ashton! Look at this!”

“Mmm.”

“Oh look at this one it says ‘shut up it’s punk!’”

“Oh cool.”

“I’m getting it!”

“Of course you are.”

“Oh my Good Ash look!”

Sighing, I glanced up from my phone to where a very round Destiny was holding up a small Misfits onesie. Nodding I then looked at our shopping cart and my eyes widened.

“Des!” I yelped.

“What?” she questioned innocently.

“What the hell is all this?” I demanded.

“Stuff for the baby.” She answered in a duh tone.

Ashley and Minnie who were sitting in a separate shopping cart eating chocolate animal crackers and playing on my iphone glanced over at the second cart.

“I want stuff.” Ashley announced.

“Tell Cal that, he’s supposed to be picking you up.” I sighed.

“I’m bored.” Minnie announced.

“You’ve bought six apps!” I cried.

“I’m still bored.” She sighed.

“You three are going to kill me.” I grumbled, “I found a gray hair on my head when I was in the shower today. A gray hair! I am twenty-four!”

Rolling her eyes, Destiny popped an animal cracker into her mouth.

“You complain too much Daddy.” Ashley informed me.

“Oh that’s rich coming from you.” I scoffed.

“Daddy is just cranky because he isn’t getting any.” Destiny laughed.

“Getting any what?” Minnie questioned.

“Cuddles!” I said quickly.

“Why does Daddy not get cuddles?” Ashley asked.

“So he doesn’t poke your new sister or brother’s eye out.” A voice said behind me.

Startled, I whirled around to find Calum standing behind me, leaning on a rack of baby dresses.

“Uncle Cal!” Ashley shrieked, standing up and nearly falling out of the cart.

“What’s up Ashed potatoes?” he laughed, picking her up and setting her down on the floor.

“Hi.” Minnie greeted politely.

“Minnie mouse!” he cried, lifting her up carefully, weary of the canula circling her face just below her nose, the end of it disappearing into the backpack on her back where her air tank was kept.
