“I have loved you since we were 18
Long before we both thought the same thing
To be loved, to be in love
All I can do is say that these arms were made for holding you
I wanna love like you made me feel
When we were 18”
Holding Destiny bridal style against my chest I walked around the hotel room slowly, swaying as we went.
Sucking on the knuckle of her index finger she looked up at me curiously.
Walking over to the window I looked down at the bustling city sprawling below. There were people down there, people who weren’t rocking the love of their life like a baby, trying desperately to get them to go down for a nap.
Sighing I bent down and kissed her nose lightly, smiling as he wrinkled.
“I love you.” I whispered.
Reaching up she ran her hand down my cheek lightly, smearing it with her spit.
“When I said you were my baby I didn’t know you’d take it so literally.” I chuckled, “It sucks though because you would have been a good mommy, you were a good mommy. A good girlfriend, a good wife, a good best friend. It’s not the same without you Des.
Making a cooing sound she nuzzled her face into my chest.
“ I met a girl the other day.” I mumbled, “She was pretty, but nowhere near as beautiful as you. And she was awaked, just like you, and sweet and she gave me her number.”
Not having the faintest inkling as to what I was saying, Destiny blinked.
“Part of wants to call her.” I admitted, sitting down on the bed, “But part of me can’t. I just can’t give up on you, you know?”
Noticing a line of drool dripping from Destiny’s slackened mouth I gently wiped it with my thumb before wiping my thumb off on my jeans.
“What would you do?” I questioned, “If it were me? Would you move on? I think I’d want you to Des, I’d want you to be happy. Do you want me to be happy?”
“MMMaga.” She babbled.
“Michael’s in his room taking a shower.” I sighed.
“Baf?”
“No.” I chuckled, smoothing back her hair, “You already had your bath.”
Suddenly the door to the room creaked open revealing Calum.
“Hey.” He greeted.
“Hi.” I muttered.
“I can take her.” He said, “I’m not doing anything and thought I’d give you a break.”
Looking down at Destiny I hesitated.
“Ashton come on.” He sighed, “Look at her, it’s not like we’re going to do anything she’s like a baby.”
“My baby.” I corrected.
“Your baby.” He sighed, “And I know that, I do, but you need a break.”
Sighing, I gave in.

“I can’t believe you called me! And not for cookies! To hang out! This is so cool! Like so, so cool! I’m like sweating like a pig right now, which is a weird expression because pigs actually can’t sweat, it’s why they wallow in mud. Dogs can’t sweat either, except through their pads which must be horrible you know?”
