The days fly by so quickly. In a matter of week ay ang debut ko na. Everything is being settled. Although, mommy has been busy lately, I appreciate her effort to coordinate well with ate Olga. I know she just wanted it to be perfect in order to showcase it to her invitees, yet I am completely fine with it.

Nakapagbigay na rin ako ng invitation card sa mga ka-block at dati kong ka-klase ng highschool. I know I wasn't really close to most of them pero come to think of it ay wala naman talaga akong masyadong kaibigan.

The invitation was simple yet so elegant looking. There were five cards placed in a slim container. The colour scheme of the invitation is white and blush pink which are my color pick for the party. It looks so classic and feminine, like the way I wanted it to be. May nakaprint na Eiffel Tower at isang babae na nakatalikod dahil nakatingin lamang siya sa magandang tore sa card container. The first card can be flipped. Once it was flipped, a 3D Eiffel Tower will be seen. On the blank space, there are words written to it.

Come and celebrate with us the eighteenth birthday of our princess, Mira Venice S. Fortaleza, as she will embrace the new chapter of her life as a beautiful lass.

Dress attire:
Anything with a hint of white and blush pink for the pretty ladies. White polo or dress shirt with a dark colored coat for the gentlemen.

Time and Venue:
7:00 PM at the Casa Belleza Hotel

There were four remaining cards yet unlike the first one, they were printed on a marble pink and white special paper. They all have the same style wherein there is a huge ribbon printed on the uppermost left side of the paper.

The first card is where the eighteen carnations were written. Next, the eighteen classy candles. Eighteen Parisian Chic jewels were the third and the last one is the eighteen blue bills.

I heaved a deep sigh before I walked towards Lay. Nagpaalam ako sa kanya last week kung payag siyang sumama sa eighteen pink carnations and he agreed pero kahit na ganoon ay kinakabahan pa rin akong ibigay sa kanya ang invitation. Baka kasi napipilitan lang siyang sumama. I don't want to think it that way though.

"Ah... Yves. Invitation nga pala para sa debut ko," I said while I am handing him the invitation.

He looked at the invitation that I am holding before accepting it.

"Thank you," wika niya sa maliit na tono.

I smiled at him then turned my back and continue walking. Bago pa man ako makapunta sa upuan ko ay nakasalubong ko na naman si Faye na may malisyosang ngiti sa kanyang labi.

"Grabe kahit simpleng interaction niyo lang, girl. Kinikilig na ako."

Naging ganito na siya sa akin. Lagi akong inaasar kay Lay kahit hindi naman dapat. Minsan ay nahihiya at naiilang na tuloy akong kausapin si Lay lalo na kapag nariyan siya. Ang tinis pa naman ng boses ni Faye lalo na kapag kinikilig.

"Faye, magtigil ka nga. Pilit mong binibigyan ng malisya ang interaksyon niya kay Yves kahit wala naman," mariing saway ni Kit kaya nabaling ang atensyon ni Faye sa kanya.

"Selos ka naman agad. Paano magka-ka-lovelife ang best friend mo kung grabe ka mambakod?"

Maging ako ay napailing sa sinabi ni Faye. Wala nga iyan sa isip ko pero siya ay mas iniisip pa pala niya ang love life ko.
