"I have good news for you," Kit said while smiling widely.Tumigil ako sa paglalakad at hinarap siya. "And what is that?"
"I passed."
My eyes widened at what he said.
Well, he's good naman talaga kaya there is really something for him to brag about it.
"I know that you can do it. I said as we continue walking.
They also say that first year is the toughest dahil dito masusubok ang determinasyon ng isang accounting student. Based on the previous years, almost half of the first year students are the only one who will be able to continue to second year of this same course.
My goal isn't only passing. I need to go beyond that.
"Of course, studying is still my top priority."
I smiled on what I heard. "Good."
Nang makapasok kami sa library ay pinili na lamang namin sa first floor and we sat at the farthest part of the library.
After an hour, we decided to take our lunch at the cafeteria. We needed to manage our time effectively and efficiently. Although sometimes, those two often overlaps.
I saw Lay walking and holding the plate on his hands. I decided to call him.
"Is it really ok for me to dine with you two?"
"Oo naman. Di ba Kit?" I said as I transferred my gaze to Kit with my slightly widened eyes.
"Ah... Oo."
I heard a deafening silence in our table. No one dared to break it.
I asked.
I know it's lame pero wala akong ibang maisip na sabihin o itanong eh. I couldn't bear to have this kind of atmosphere especially to the two of my most favorite persons.
Napatingin siya sa akin. "It was fine."
He was very good once he was called in the recitation. His diction and explanation was very precise. Even our professor is amazed by his answers.
