I'm A Celebrity 2019!

~ 30 ~

After my last jungle shower, I head back up to camp, waiting for Andy to come back, then it was Roman's turn. 'It's so weird just having the two of us here.' I shake my head, sunbathing on the same bed he is, sharing as we lay in our swimsuits.

'I know. From how full it was to now. It's absolutely mad.' I shake my head. 'What's the first thing you're gonna do when you get to the hotel?' I ask, wafting away a fly. 'Ooh. I don't know whether to shower or sleep.' I laugh at him.

'I'm having a bath man. A full on. 3 hour bath.' I fantasise. 'If I like, focus hard enough.' He bursts out laughing. 'I can literally smell the bubble bath.' I close my lips together.

I was genuinely going insane.

'I'm gonna see my family as well obviously.' He laughs loudly. 'But bath time. Cannot wait.' I throw my hands up. 'I think I might shower, then order room service. Eat. Then go back in the shower.' He plans and I nod, laughing. 'Sounds bloody brilliant.' I hi five him, or try to, missing.

And hitting him in the balls.

He flies forward, groaning in agony as I cry laughing. Roman falling off the bed dramatically and rolling around on the floor. 'Fuck me, Maia.' He huffs, in a lot of pain and I laugh. 'Nah I'm good right now man.' I joke, not helping him as I laugh even more.

Then Andy walks back in. 'Right. I'll come back later.' I laugh harder as he laughs, laying back on his hammock as Roman gets up to sit back on the bed, still huffing dramatically.

'So. I had the eating one guys.' I cringe. 'Oooh.' 'So they had the one I had to eat, then a temptation one that was one of my favourite things.' My eyes widen. 'Oh god!' Roman finally speaks. 'So I had a Wichity Grub, camel hoof, a scorpion, Pigs testicle and then last was Croc Anus.'

I grit my teeth. 'Fair play man.' Roman laughs, getting ready, then heading off as I sunbathe, talking to Andy about the same stuff I spoke to Roman about.

Turns out he had to a snake one. 'Panic Pit' from a few years ago. It sounded absolutely horrible. It was his worst fear, he had about 55 snakes in an underground hole with him and he was absolutely shaking when he came back.

'I could feel their tongues, literally all over me. They went round my neck. Over my face, up my shirt, everything.' He got a bit overwhelmed and both Andy and I pulled him into a huge hug. 'You did it man.' I laugh, dusting the sand I got on me after the hug.

Then we had our feast. What we'd worked all the three weeks for. This moment.

We sat around the huge table, real cutlery, napkins. It was beautiful.

I sat in the middle, Ro and Andy either side of me. 'Guys we deserve this feast after the horribleness we had to endure today.' Andy laughs and I nod, spying the rangers bringing our drinks, my Strawberry Mojito calling me. 'Cheers!' I clink our glasses, tucking into my drink. Then our starters came.

Andy had prawn cocktail, Roman had Calamari and I had loaded potato skins, topped with bacon, cheese and garlic.

It looked amazing. And tasted even better knowing I had won it for us. Roman's eyes genuinely rolling back into his head for a second as he dug in too.

Then for the mains Andy had a roast dinner, Roman had a huge Pizza, and I had two huge chicken steaks with chips. Not quite chicken nuggets, but I was saving them for the first time I went back to McDonalds.

Andy got full very quickly, whereas I was nowhere near. Downing my chips and chicken so quickly I was a little worried. But then came the dessert.

'Come on Ro. You earned this.' They lifted the plates. Both having chocolate fudge cake with hot sauce. Mine with strawberries and his with blueberries.

'Holy shit. I've never loved anything more.' I savour the taste in my mouth. Then for my treat I asked for a whole chocolate orange, taking my time. Even though I knew I'd be able to eat this all again tomorrow.

Just. A. Few. More. Hours.

We all went to sleep early, wanting to get to tomorrow.

Then as we woke up, packing all our stuff away, I had a little cry. Packing up all my bikinis. My Celeb Cyclone shirt, my Power Pair T-Shirt, curse top, my hat, bandana, I'd stolen my Cinderella dress and stuffed it in here as well.

This was it. I'd get to see everybody today.

Whether I went out 3rd, 2nd or even by some small chance, won.

I was so so proud of myself. And was so grateful for this experience...
