DIX-NEUF

Three months later...
Noong mga naunang buwan ay nag aadjust pa din ako pa din ako lalo kila Isaac at Dorothy dahil nahihiya pa din ako sa kanilang magandang pakikitungo sa akin at sa sitwasyon ko pero gumawa sila nang paraan para maging komportable ako na parang isang member ng pamilya nila.

Isaac always told me to used their phones or even computer to open my social media accounts but I refused it and told him that I wanted to keep myself here as long as the kidnappers won't find me and they won't be involved in my trouble.

I already gave him my basic informations and he told me to keep myself busy while he finding a way to find my relatives on his own connections and friends.

I became Isaac girl best friend and Dorothy's big sister. We also have our endearment to each other like I called Isaac as "Uno", and he called me as "Sity". While Dorothy called me as "Ate Seri" like the first day and I called her as "Babe or Dothy". I've been met their parents on the facetime and they also treat me like their own daughter. Also they wanted to meet me in person like I do.

"Hey Sity, wanna come with me to the hospital? You have schedule today, right?" Isaac asked.

Napatigil ako sa pagbabasa ng libro bago napalingon naman ako sa kanya.

"Sh!t! I forgot about it! Wait up! Saglit lang! Magbibihis lang ako! Wait me downstair Uno!" sambit ko at patakbo nagpunta sa restroom.

Narinig ko naman ang tawa niya at nagpaalam na mauna sa baba.

I picked a black wrap dress, a black leather crop jacket, a white ash addict trainers sneakers, and a black bucket bag plus a french braid.

I saw Dorothy to her half open door while sitting in her study table who was serious in front of her laptop.

"Wanna come to the hospital, babe?" I asked her when I entered to her room.

Napalingon naman siya sa akin nang saglit na nagpaalam sa kung sino mang kausap nila sa harap ng laptop niya.

"Nah. I have my online class today. Have a nice day ate." seryosong sagot niya.

"Okay. Good luck! See you later!"

Tumango naman siya kaya lumabas na ako at tahimik na isinarado ang pintuan bago bumaba dahil naghihintay sa akin si Isaac.

"Let's go, Uno."

[Scripps La Jolla Hospitals]
"Good morning, Dra. Perry." I greeted.

"Good morning, Miss Serinity. How are you?"

"I'm fine Doctora."

"Good to hear that. But let's take a check up first."

"Okay po."

After my check up...
I went to the nurse station to asked for Isaac but they told me that he was roaming to the wards and if I look for him, he asked them to told me that I waited him to his office.

It's good that I brought a book with me to read while waiting for Isaac.

"Hey Sity, are you done with your check up?" Isaac asked when he saw me sitting inside his office.

"Yeah." I answered while focusing to the book.

"How's your check up?"

"Fine. But Dra. Perry told me to wait until next check up for the result."

"Oh, wanna come with me while roaming to the wards, Sity?" He offered.

I stopped reading and look at him.

"Hmm, sure. But can I use your restroom first? Naiihi na ko ih." paalam ko rito.

Natatawa naman siyang tumango.

I just followed him from behind while greeting and  gave them a smile those childrens in their hospital beds.

"Hey Sity, Dorothy will come here to fetch you because I have an emergency today and you wait her to my office. " He said when he stopped.

"Okay. " I answered.

"Alam mo naman ang pabalik doon diba?" tanong niya.

"Yeah. Don't worry. Hindi ako mawawala. Just go, Uno. See you later sa house!"

"Yeah, yeah, and don't let my sister to drive like a crazy car racer." bilin niya at humalik sa pisngi ko.

"Opo kuya Uno." natatawang tugon bago yumakap sa kanya at umalis doon para lumabas ng hospital building dahil kilala ko si Dorothy na tinatamad nang pumasok sa loob lalo kapag busy siya sa online class niya.

"Hi babe?" I greeted her when I entered to the shot gun seat.

"Uhm." and she started to drive.

"How's your online class?"

"It's good thing that Kuya Isaac asked me to fetch you here because I need to go to my studio and to talk someone right now."

"Why?"

"..." she focused herself to the road and didn't answered me.

"Okay. You don't want to split it up. I will be quiet."

[The Cox Studio]
"Miss Cox, nandito na iyong new client niyo at pinapasok ko na po sa office niyo." bungad ni Madison. Well, She is a Filipina and she's nice person.

"Great! Ate you can look around and if you want to go upstair to read some books, just knock to inform, while I'm talking to my client sa office." paalam niya bago humalik sa aking pisngi at naglakad paalis.

Tumango naman.

"Madi, can you accompany me?" I asked.

"Sure madame! The pleasure is mine." biro pa nito.

"Lead the way then."

Ipinakita niya lang sa akin ang latest project ni Dorothy. Then I told her that I roamed around by myself.

Boring... Maybe I need to read something.

Kumatok ako sa pinto at sumilip sa loob. Nakatalikod sa akin iyong client at napalingon naman sa akin si Dorothy.

"Excuse me, Dorothy," bungad ko, "I'm bored, I'll go upstair and call me if you're done. I just reading some books. Bye." paalam ko saka lumabas roon noong tumango siya.

Good thing, busy sa phone niya iyong client kaya hindi lumingon sa akin. But her client look familiar to me though.

I was lying on the bed while reading a book when I felt asleep.

"I miss you, Serinity, where are you? Please come back here! I love you so much!"

Why I running away from him? Who is he? Do we know each other?

"SERINITY! PLEASE COME BACK HERE! SERINITY! SERINITY!"

What the fuck! Why I am crying right now?

"PLEASE SERINITY! YOU'RE MY OXYGEN AND I AM DYING TO BREATH! PLEASE! WAIT ME UP-"

"Hey ate, wake up! Sucks! Why are you crying?" Dorothy worried.

Bakit nga ba ako umiiyak?

She hugged me tight as I buried my face to her chest.

"Don't worry ate. It's just a bad dream."
