"um, heejin..." minsoo started, sitting down next to heejin.
"yes?" she asked softly, blinking slowly and letting out a tired yawn.
"i kind of..." she drifted, unsure of how heejin would react to her statement.
"what is it?"
"yeonjun had passed out before he could get to you to put the give you his ring on your pinky. i got him up here but by the time i did, you were both out. so i had to put the rings on myself."
"what?" heejin breathed out, looking at her pinky to see a silver ring with the name choi yeonjun encrypted on it.
she sat there, staring at her finger for a moment, trying to process what had happened while she had been unconscious.
"does that mean..." she stopped, not knowing if she wanted her thoughts to be true or not.
"you can heal one another and share thoughts..." minsoo finished, still watching heejin's facial expressions.
the room was silent. heejin didn't know how to feel.
she was thankful that minsoo had tried saving her life, but at the same time- would it cost her happiness?
would she and yeonjun be able to move past their childish feud to live their lives happily?
or would they continue their banter- never letting the other breath.
would their lives just be going back and forth to each other's houses just to make sure they didn't die?
honestly, neither of them wanted that.
but at the same time, they both had too big of egos to let the other see their vulnerability.
but they were soulmates- they'd get over that stage, right?
"i understand why you did it." heejin said lowly, still eyeing the ring on her finger.
minsoo was quiet now- not know how exactly to continue on as if everything were normal when it was anything but normal now.
"would you like diner? you haven't eaten much in a while." minsoo suggested, standing up and walking over to the bedroom door.
"no, thank you though." heejin nodded, slowly closing the door after minsoo walked out.
they'd overcome this. right?

this was supposed to be posted yesterday but my wattpad was acting up. it still is so i'm unsure if this will actually post but might as well try.
