fifty nine

the night began passing by faster and faster. none of them wanted to admit it was nearing time for everything to be over.

the two groups had already performed a combination of twenty different songs, of those, twelve had choreography.

and as you would know, soulmates feel each other's pain. so when one soulmate was performing, the other would feel the same thing as the other, resulting in eight of the nine getting more and more tired as the night proceeded.

but still, they continued on and on, the happiness radiating from the crowd falling onto each member- making them want to continue no matter how tired they had felt.

the last 'segment' was just a regular game. but the members playing said game really just set everyone off.

loud laughter filled the air as the audience and girls watched the boys try their best to do the whisper challenge.

"oh my god, he's an idiot!" jiyeon laughed into the mic, watching yeonjun struggle.

but he continued to do so, causing jiyeon to throw her shoulder into heejin's who was equally laughing just as hard.

but he finally got it. the laughter died down very little for a moment while kai figured out the easy phrase. until it was time to beomgyu to guess.

his immediate failure was the funniest thing that happened the entire night. the girls and most of the audience feeling their legs go weak from laughter.

but soon enough the night grew closer to an end, meaning it was time for the last song.

the nine songs joined each other to the front of the stage as their final song began playing.

after a few lines, they split off into pairs- with kai joining taehyun and sooyoung since he still didn't have his own soulmate.

the song drew close to an end too soon.

yeonjun and heejin stood hand in hand at the end of the stage, both of them looking around in pure happiness at the bright lights and night sky shining above them.

yeonjun took the chance to look over at heejin, staring at her side profile as she watched the sky with music playing around them.

without a second thought, he leaned over, planting a kiss on her lips- for the first time.

at first, she was taken aback but after quickly realizing what was happening, heejin kissed back.

the kiss was soft and full of love and they could feel the pain leaving their body at once.

in seconds, heejin pulled back with a smile on her face, "i guess we're part of the 0.5% of the soulmate world, huh?" she said, causing yeonjun to break into a bright smile.

the night ended on the best night possible. at to heejin's surprise, they had raised far more than enough she needed for her mother's surgery.

she went to social media to thank everyone, and in return, new fans were very excited to inform her that she deserved more than the world.

her mother's surgery went well and she was soon back home once again.

after making sure she had paid everything needed for her mother, she had moved in with yeonjun where the two would soon live together in happiness- along with their best friends.

and with the way people around them reacted to their music, the two groups decided to start publishing it to music apps and began holding more concerts for fans.

people were more than happy when they found out the two groups would also be joining the famous vlive app where they would begin their own variety shows.

everything was going well. and their careers would continue to do well, along with their relationships with one another.

they were happy, together.
